1	I hope this is tongue-in-cheek, but I suspect it's not. Basically, at this point in history, reproductive technology has advanced to the point where sperm may be frozen. It's true. But in a few decades, what if tissue engineering has advanced to the point where ex vivo gestation is a real possibly. Sounds pretty far out, no? But we're already making tracheas, skin grafts, and other simple organs, just from stem cells. Probably in my life time, there will be artificial hearts and livers, at the rate were going. 0	Men, Who Needs Them? - NYTimes.com I really don't know why this story hasn't received more attention on reddit. I found this article shocking, especially from the New York Times, to publish something so sexist. I mean, basically the crux of the article is that, due of advances in reproductive technology, men are now obsolete. This idea suggests that, in the absence of reproductive capability, people are worthless. This was so far out there, I thought this was satire the first time I read it. But no, the author is serious.
