Agh i don't even remember. I recently re-listened to all of them. I think it may have had to do with men who choose to do casual relationships. They often don't have the stuff required to make it long haul.

My personal mantra is actually more like "when all the boys don't want you, you're doing something right. Keep it up" but I'm afraid you won't like that one.

Again the UK trial already said he was guilty. He dragged her just because he could. One thing I'm not concerned about (and if there's anything this sub has taught me) is that a scrote is a scrote is a scrote. If he has terrible/poor character, he'll strike again. Hopefully, this time he's not lucky and time sets the record straight and gives her justice. No one mentions those atrocious messages he sent to Paul Bettany where they were discussing m$rdering her. Not the words of an innocent man.

There is literally countless evidence that AH wasn't lying including the UK report that corroborated that Depp beat her. Y'all want to ride and die for him but you realize that he had a history of drunken, reckless behavior right? People on sets didn't want to work with him anymore because he was unprofessional and aggressive.

Have y'all read the tragedy of heterosexuality?? By Jane Ward? I feel like the FDS girls will love it because it outlines exactly the entitlement that males have towards us and how it's been part of our grooming process for centuries. If you haven't, please do pick it up! I'm almost halfway through.

I second you, in India's case it is non muslims (we know who they are) who are forcing them and they're not forcing them out of good will for women because the same men forcing them to take it off do unspeakable things to women in India from their own religious group. People who aren't aware of this really should be. Ultimately the choice to wear it or not should be left to the woman, we cannot yank their clothing off of them because we believe we know better. Often this leads them to further vi…

I wouldn't be so quick to lab someone a HVM after a date. A HVM man is comprised of a set of good consistent behaviors. Just being interested in what you have to say is the bare minimum.

If a man calls you crazy, leave. That's all. Don't ever try to change them when they have exposed themselves. It makes them defensive and more importantly it drains YOU. Nothing kills a man's ego faster than indifference.

Honestly i disagree, in countries like India, pickmeism is HORRIBLE. The worse the patriarchy, the more indoctrinated the women are. I just made my mom read why does he do that? By Lundy Bancroft and she said it could describe SO many women she knew. She's a pickmeisha but hopefully she'll reform after this. Either way narcissistic men and pick me women are common to us.

I only have one HVM example I can think of; my dad. He would leave early from his business trips (instead of staying and partying with coworkers) to fly back home to read me bed time stories, he started saving for my education about three years before I was born and began investing as soon as possible. He bought me all the books and toys I ever wanted and shot fun music videos with me and put on pretend fashion shows. He took me to Mani pedis and would get them done with me (he was straight but …

Honestly I cannot speak for other Desi women but the culture in India in put me off so much that I refused to date or even talk to most men until I moved to a first world country for uni. Not that the men were better I'm the first world country but at least I had more rights here. You will find little sympathy there for women, even my own mother exhibits a lot of internalized misogyny even though my father was HV, a rarity. It took me years to realize no one was going to be like my father. I hav…

A society that promotes patriarchy and prevents women from having education/jobs creates a society where women are dependent on men for survival. Pick me moms and negligent or abusive dads usually. Arrange marriage also guarantees them wives they don't deserve. Many of them have a god complex and their families nurture this. I avoid them as much as possible because I've yet to meet one that has genuine empathy for the well-being of women who wasn't also trying to gain them to use as a sexual app…

Something I think never gets me ruined was in the original GOt books, Jason Momoa's character never r*ped Daenerys, he actually waited until she was comfortable and ready, but for some reason they chose to eschew this in the show...so they basically added a horrible scene that was never there in the book and ruined a perfectly good character for me.

My father used to say speak out loud, but move in silence. What he meant was that when urgent/pressing matters come it's important to exercise your voice and speak up on behalf of yourself and the more vulnerable, but whatever your personal/professional goals, tell no one. Move in silence.

I know a lot of households im Asia where the husbands give their wives their paycheck every month, she uses it for the household, for herself and then the rest is his. In some others, a husbands money is considered his family's money, but his wife's money is considered her own.

Not at all. As a person who has struggled with depression for years, even in the best or worst of times I always had me. When you're depressed and alone, you alone are responsible for getting back on your feet and you have no one holding you back. Marriage and kids will not cure depression. Think of how your kids or husband would benefit from having a depressed mom? What would their upbringing be if you could not be there for them 100%? As I kept thinking about this I was like at least I don't h…

So I'm not gonna lie I reached that point in my dating life. I was so sick of the scrotes so I was like I won't bother if he won't! Went out in a university sweatshirt and a ponytail and didn't give a damn. Stopped dating entirely after that.

They aren't as cautious as us because they don't need to be. The statistics tell you enough about what a danger most men are to us. Our first date could always be our last one.

It's strange that immigrants from the third world, especially south Asia are demonized as curry smelling and stinky when we literally invented the concept of daily bathing! I have never ever smelled a stinky woman in south Asia, maybe a few scrotes here and there (it's certainly a very scrote like behavior) but was horrified at how little men in the UK bathed and how they were oblivious to their own smell. Fucking projection

Indian men do this a lot and colonialism has a lot to do with it. They can be very colorist and put white women on a pedestal while simultaneously slut shaming them for "being easy" compared to Indian girls. At the same time they chastise Indian women for being prudish, too traditional or not traditional/cultured enough. They even gaslight us about intergenerational trauma and the severe patriarchal conditions we grow up in in India, calling us dramatic. It's why I've never been drawn to one unl…

Short answer is yes. They do do this because of internalized racism/colonialism but it manifests as crazy sexism against their own. Do not date men like this. They will idealize you and be upset when you don't play into their fantasies.

Tbh I've debated this a lot because I don't really believe in marriage nor do I want to be married. I am bi so if I got married I'd prefer it be to a woman. But FDS is very pro-marriage with men. I wonder what their thoughts are on women who aren't so keen on marriage in the first place, should we refrain from dating men if we wind up forever gfs? Idk.

Yup! Desi men are a breed unto themselves and I wouldn't be quick to label any of them HV unless they show they have broken from the oppressive, patriarchal conditioning most of us have. If he doesn't challenge his parents and does literally everything they say (down to them choosing his clothes or career path) RUN. If you're white he will expect that you're easy, if you're brown he will run you into the ground with his cultural expectations

I love the second part but I really think we need to rid the idea that we are their things or their special toys. We deserve to be invested in, because we are worthy of investment. We are valuable and adaptive human beings and without us, there wouldn't be much on this planet. Men should fight for that.

Agreed. Too many of them were like this and in my past LV behavior I tolerated too many of their advances and got myself into many dangerous situations! Only upon stumbling on FDS did I realize NUMEROUS women had experiences like this. It was so baffling and hurtful at first and really these scrotes had me doubting my self worth. My self esteem took a huge tumble on those apps.

YUP can confirm. I never met a scrote off a dating app who wasn't either a) psychopath b) weirdo c)emotionally unstable/unavailable/dysfunctional d) porn addicts e) RP/PUA or perverts To find a good person there is like trying to find a needle in a shit stained haystack. You may find one, but at what cost? You're still gonna remember the shit smell.
