2	When rape charges are dropped, it's not appropriate to call the accuser 'the victim' I get what you're saying but to call it a 'victim' means that it is "for a fact" that a crime was done upon them. It has to be established first that the person was actually raped before he/she is a victim. Otherwise, it "boosts up" credibility suddenly that the accused may have committed the crime, when there might not have necessarily been a crime.
