I'm Asian and 5'7" and hang out with all white people at bars with mostly white people. I don't really have problems hitting on white girls and having them ask me for my number. And I'm not a model or athlete or anything. It has to do with your attitude and how smoothly you can have conversations with random girls.

To all of you Asians out there thinking that girls only want the tall 6'2 jacked white guys, you're wrong. Agreed. 5'7" 160lb Asian guy here, plenty of hot girls are open to getting with someone that's not tall and/or ripped. You just have to be interesting, fun, and confident. Sure there are some that aren't attracted to Asians (or other races/body types/etc) but whatever - there are certain things I'm simply not attracted to either.

Be friends with them if you want to actually be friends but don't try and use genuine friendship as a way to get laid. Perfect summary. And I know I already said it, but vice versa too.. If you know you're not OK with being "just friends" then don't become her friend. Simple as that. Why would you agree to something that you don't ultimately want?

In real life meeting first, not a chance. Meh. It's worked for me. It all depends on how good/bad you are at texting and if you know when to stop, or how to escalate things, etc.

The problem with the friendzone is that you're always obsessing over how to magically win them over and convince them that you should be more than friends. It's fine if you're friends with girls you're attracted to, IMO.. that's not the friendzone. Friendzone is when you're desperately trying to take it to the next level when they've made it clear that they don't want to be anything more than friends. If that's the case then yes it's toxic for you. Using friendship as a foot in the door can be d…

I do a ton of exciting/interesting stuff on my own time but I have the same problem. I play in a band, I race cars, I hang out with other people, etc. but as soon as I feel a "connection" it becomes an obsession and it sucks. So other than having a life outside of a girl, what else can be done? I think my mistake is being so easy to feel a connection?

I'm Japanese and have only been with/dated white girls. I grew up in a very white area so maybe it helps that I look Japanese but my "culture" is not too unfamiliar for some white girls. Usually I'm the first Asian guy they've dated/hooked up with, and (interestingly, to me), none of them have been the anime/kpop/etc. obsessed type girls that one might expect. Sure, some women won't be attracted to an Asian guy, but I feel like if that's the case, I wouldn't want to be with someone like that any…

If you're looking for a serious relationship, don't start one with a cheater. I've done it twice, married (and divorced) one, and both times it ended as one would expect.

Maybe not interested at all, or maybe just not right then. I got LMR a couple weeks ago, but now everything is great. Patience paid off and I didn't let the rejection get me mad or whatever. There are tons of reasons why she'd want to stop the escalation at any given point. Maybe she's not emotionally ready? Maybe she didn't shower after work and she feels gross? Maybe she has a personal "rule" that it can be no earlier than the 3rd date, and it's your 2nd. Who knows?

This is the best answer, in my opinion. Not too serious, it's actually fun, competitive means you can easily flirt and give each other shit, if alcohol is served it helps people loosen up too.

I know you guys are talking about being charged with something, but most schools are zero tolerance on stuff like this, so yeah the guy would definitely be suspended and possibly charged.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
