I spent most of 2019 in Nashville where they were testing out those rentable scooters. 10,000 drunk tourists trusted to ride a motorized vehicle in a very densely packed area. I knew it was inevitable, and sure enough within 4 months a drunk kid got himself killed. Drive in that mess long enough, and you’ll be convinced that each driver of an actual car should be allowed to run over 3 scooters per week with no consequences.

I’ve seen stupid little snippets on social media. This type of show is bullshit. They seek out and cherry pick the dumbest possible people to specifically push their narrative. Grab some porn stars or college sophomores who read a pamphlet on feminism and present them as the “average woman, OMG this what they actually believe!!!” At best it caters to the Jerry Springer crowd, at worst it’s specially targeting angry young men who desperately want to believe that it’s true.

A “porn star” might spend 8 hours a week fucking, and making relatively shitty money for their efforts.
