| 1 | TRP spilling out in TwoXI'm no expert, but I would train in an art that matches your weak spots. Speaking for myself, when I started BJJ I thought my strength would really help. Instead it showed me my cardio and flexibility sucked. I would be rolling around with a 120 lb girl, and after 2 minutes I would be so worn out trying to submit her, that she would easily take me at a point of weakness. Whatever you choose, stick to some real fighting (e.g. BJJ, sambo, boxing) rather than some mall karate. | /r/TheRedPill | 14/04/16 05:44 PM |
| 2 | TRP spilling out in TwoXYou'd probably want to cross-train BJJ with a striking art (e.g. Muay Thai). That said, you'll get your ass handed to you as a BJJ white belt. The first time you try to bench-press a purple belt who's got side-control, will make you understand your place in the world. | /r/TheRedPill | 14/04/16 05:18 PM |
