What if I only find white women physically attractive

I understand none of these things (money, traveling, attractiveness, athleticism) will make me interesting by themselves and I do agree that this dynamic of wanting to impress a woman will only convey desperation from my side: that’s pretty much how I felt when I was dating as a student who doesn’t have much going on on his side instead of working and making money for myself. That’s why I thought it would be a good idea to wait until I make money again (since I’ve worked in the past) to gain the…

Thank you so much! This comment was very useful. I have read “How to make friends and influence people” to improve my social skills in general so I knew that I have to let people talk about themselves, but I seem to struggle about the specifics: I was asking rather quantitative questions (How many countries have you been to? ) instead of qualitative questions and questions that talk about their relationship with others. Now it looks obvious but I really was focusing on not so important questions…

I don’t get your point. While I agree that women should not be the main focus of self-improvement, why is wondering about the specifics of attracting them if you are not naturally good at it a bad thing?

I know. I’ve been coding for a very long time. If I could go back in time I would choose only comp. Sci. But I can’t and it’s useless to think otherwise.

That’s not even what I said. I am doing this degree because it’s the best I can do that will get me the most money. Women will only be a consequence of it. I am not doing it for women, I am doing it for myself.

I know. But I already chose this degree and I can’t switch now.

I have a lot of hobbies but from what I've observed women tend to find social hobbies way more interesting. That's why I decided to go to bachata classes and while it helped a lot in meeting women and making them think I am interesting, I wasn't entirely enjoying it as I do with my other, more lonely hobbies.

Of course. I wasn't thinking about money as a means of simping but rather as means of aiding with logistics for dates.

You are absolutely right when you say that money isn't that important if your looks and game are on point. But I started to be aware of game by the age of 20, so I have that initial disadvantage. That's why I thought money could simplify the logistics aspect and give me a better starting point to improve on game once I have money. As for the degree part, I don't absolutely hate it, I like the comp. sci. part but I just dislike the math part, but I am already halfway there, I can't quit now, it's…

I see the opener OP uses in his story works in that context but what would you say to a girl at a party to start a conversation?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
