I think it's more of a case of probability and investment in that. Maybe there is lost valuable knowledge under water, but maybe there isn't. Whereas in space we're missing data, there's something there for sure, but we can't see it from here. It's the same argument with the ocean I guess, and I don't know why there isn't the same interest in what's under the ocean, maybe it's the scope of the idea, one planet vs many. Just how the world turned out I guess.

Not to sound arrogant, but I think it's pretty safe to say that modern science beats any possible "lost knowledge" we could find underwater after thousands of years. That being said, discovering new weird matter and energy sources like fusion becoming possible would be slightly more productive.

But who also has "his own ideas" and "ambitions". Why am I wasting time reading this babble filled with contradictions? Ahh yes, entertainment, watching things go splat as they hit the wall.

Also dated a porn star... the princess of a country... The man who could have any woman in this world, literally anything... picked a divorcee with a history that's older than him by like 7 years and was filmed in sexual acts (although suits is great, does the prince of the UK really want stuff like that about his wife available to any one at any time?) That's a yikes from me chief

Not really identifying with anyone in my case. I was just looking at it from a law making perspective. Of course the guy's a piece of shit, but I'm not married to him. Hes not signed a contract with me saying he won't cheat, she has, so she's culpable
/r/MGTOW08/10/19 04:23 PM

True, but it wasn't him that made the commitment, it's not up to him to honor it. It's a piece of shit move, but ethics and law aren't the same thing for a reason.

There was a news article a few years ago celebrating that women in Saudi Arabia went from having the same rights as an object to having the same rights as a camel. Had a good laugh. Anyway I don't know the details of Islam so I wont hop on that boat. Just because a woman is forced to be obedient doesn't mean shit. As soon as she gets the opportunity she'll show her colours, and I can't be asked to get back to the times when people sat gossiping about who fucked who so that women know what shame …

Did you edit? Didn't see anything past 'so are men' Anyway, yes, men who are abused and cheated on are weak. Just as women can tell trash from men, men can also tell when a woman is trash. Though we are often impaired by higher libido, that's no excuse. There are signs that are evident when you look closely without the "love" for the person. That's a part of what this sub shares. Easiest I've found is look at her friends. If her friends are hoes, guess what... A man needs restraint which comes f…

For single parenthood? I mean unless the guy died, she shouldn't be a single parent, as long as she was responsible when choosing a man to share a child with. But why be responsible, you can kill that baby in the first 9 months anyway, and if not papa government will make sure the father is responsible. Yeah there's trash guys out there, loads of them, but women can tell them apart. Don't fool yourself into thinking they don't know what they are signing up for.

So a woman who had a kid with this guy that's slowly been abusing her for years doesn't get our sympathy. Choices and consequences. Don't know why I'm even typing this out it's clear that you won't learn anything. Women are never at fault right? But don't worry you'll learn, like the rest of the men here have.

Yes the father was fine for many years then one day the stars aligned and suddenly, boom, he became an asshole. As for him dying, there are provisions like life insurance and I suppose some government assistance would be adequate. However, I don't think the chick who had a kid with a guy should get child support after an "irreconcilable differences" divorce. Maybe you should've figured that out before having kids with the guy? If she has kids with him before being married then she knew what she …

"If it wasn't for sex, would men have anything to do with women?" "Good question... no" I lost it.

I'd disagree. Music, as a form of art, has shaped the expectations and wants of people. Before marriage was a duty and seen as holy by society, then the Romantic movement came in and poets started fantasizing about the purity of the female soul and the eternal love they offer the men who are not worthy and... You get it. This movement in art transformed relationships between men and women from dutiful marriages to... lust and passion I'd guess. It also boosted the value of women, as every man no…

He's just saying that corporations are shallow and none of them actually deserve our loyalty as customers. They don't actually believe in what they are saying any more than Gillette does, they're just trying to attract buyers. We shoukd probably discourage this political advertising, but men have been getting shit for so long that it honestly feels good to see something like this.

Had a friend who waited with his grandmother who had a broken rib for 3 hours to see a doctor, waited in the hospital.. I can see this becoming a thing in America too, with the push for socialized healthcare. The benefits of society mostly come from capitalism, you can quickly become wealthy by providing services to the masses, competitive quality of products, cheaper more varied food...etc. The only social service that can justify itself (in my eyes) is the police. However with this growth of w…

Interesting ideas What popped in my mind was Hercules or Heracles, whichever you prefer. The "goddess" was jealous so She killed his family with his hands. 12 Labours were his punishment from society to pay for the murders. He left his family for some slag, and society made him pay for his family, with him achieving "immortality" for it. Immortality, heaven, you can see the comparison to today. Not sure about the moral. I'm guessing for those times it would have been to stay in your family. Stil…
