Man, I had a very similar experience. When I found the red pill I was obsessed with getting my own business, travelling the world, spinning plates and doing my own thing in general. Well, fast forward a few years, and I made it. I was living in Bali, meeting new chicks often and enjoying a couple of recurring plates while working on my own thing from my laptop. Man in my own experience, polarization is what’s been the most helpful for me. At one point I realized it’s just not possible for all women to like you, and that you should focus on being your best self and find the ones that are attracted to you naturally. Mark Manson also talks later in the book about honest action, which basically means that you don’t hide your intentions and go after the ones you want. If you mix that with polarization... sooner or later you’ll make it.

Yeah man... it was a hard decision but I had to think about what’s best for me. What really made me pull the trigger was that I’ve been starting my own company for the past 6 months, and they constantly criticized me instead of trying to help or support me. I was always remembering the red pill metaphor of crabs in a barrel.

Man I’d love to see more posts like this and to meet more people with a similar mentality. I recently “dumped” my group of friends because they’ve been drifting towards the slave mentality this past year and it’s painful to watch.
