Strength does not indicate power. I think people not understanding this point is a huge contributor to people thinking that men cannot be raped by a woman. Power and dominance can be physical or psychological.

I can see why you say that it should not be a rape/ sexual assault. I have not made a decision one way or the other and know parties on both sides. I was simply saying that not all "legally defined rape" is nefarious. In this case it was a bad decision regarding what was at the time consensual sex.

I think what was implied is that you can rape someone via a bad choice. Washington State Law states that if one or both parties are drunk that consent cannot be given. Lets say that the man and woman are drunk. Both want to have sex. They wake up in the morning and one decide that they only did it because they were drunk. I believe it falls under sexual assault but criminal charges can be brought against the offending party. That is why I maintain my strong stance of not having sex with drunk pe…
