That wasn’t my experience Got a ticket a few years ago for going 2 mph over. When it got to court, the officer didn’t show, and the judge upon reading the ticket, re read it and out loud asked if they were serious. Hell, The prosecutor told me that this was a waste of time, and told the judge they were dropping charges because this whole thing was just lame and pointless.

Adoptive was the best term I could devise. Would fake father fit your narrative better even though he spent 9 years of his life raising it? I think that the first option should be removed or amended. The biological father shouldn’t be kept from the child in EVERY case as a blanket rule. What if he doesn’t know about the child? It’s entirely possible that he’s not even aware the child exists or is his. I’d almost say let the biological father decide if he wants to keep it but that’s not fair to the dude who raised the kid for 9 years either.
