That's how I found this redpill community, from lurking on the deadbedrooms sub. They really hate this place, so it made me curious. I think the story you related is quite common and you see it on the deadbedrooms and marriedredpill subs often enough. To be honest, I think the advice here is better than the typical "see a therapist" and have "the talk" garbage that people seem to promote, even though I disagree with some of it. Anyway, thanks for the reply :)

Haha...good answer.

Your right, of course I'm not as familiar, thats why I'm here. As far as those examples I cited, you would come across that line of thinking on feminist websites. Without nuance and context I understand why you might find those things offensive. Now if you were to ask about those things, I would attempt to explain them with the understanding that of course you are not as versed in the subject matter. Now here's the thing, I don't disagree with much of redpill theory from what I've read. Most of …

If you agree 100% with with a set of ideas, you are no longer thinking for yourself. But that's a topic for another day.

The sidebar on this sub that does not define any of these theories, or the other 10 subs that are linked? I read enough of TheRedPill sidebar to have some concerns to be addressed before I pass judgement. In any case, if we were to flip the script, this is what it sounds like to me: 1) All men are violent, and they use that threat of violence to gain control over women. 2) All men are rapists. Whether or not they rape is a matter of circumstance. 3) men desire unrestricted sexual access to all w…

Yes, you expanded on the thoughts of another comment on this post. I think the misunderstanding I have with the subject matter is reading opinions of trolls and such. I like GenderCritical and ActualLesbians, but that's not to say there aren't extremists there, either. I'll give the subject matter some leeway, I'm always willing to learn a new perspective.

I guess it took a woman to explain it 🤔 but that part of 'him being better than you?'...wtf.

self-centered, solipsistic, callous, dishonourable, emotionally child-like individuals who shouldn't necessarily be thought of as functioning equals, but more akin to a child to be handled and shouldn't really be taken seriously. Technically no because RP holds men as the more virtuous sex I appreciate your candor. However, I would argue those are universal traits associated with bad character. Now whether or not it is you or all of TheRedPill that holds men as the more "virtuous sex"?...

Thank you for the thoughtful reply, seems I'm getting trolled here more than anything. Most men really don't give a damn about those things From my own experience and just common knowledge it seems that is not the case. Slut-shaming is real. TBH, I'm guilty of thinking less of permiscuous girls, as well, but I'd never say that in real life. Perhaps what I'm wondering about is outcomes, because it seems to be the same. Do women cheat? Yes, but so do men. Do women lie and play games? Yes, but so d…

Lmao...okay, so much for civilized discussion, but I'll bite, broham: 1) Okay, no snowflakes. I agree, then... 2) trolling 3) more trolling that puts a bad light on the community you want to be seen as supporting. That's not what you do, though, is it? You delude yourself into thinking you are edgy and trolling, but your insecurities are plain as day. I came here for discovery and rational discourse and I don't believe your words are fairly representative of this community. Buh bye 🖐

That's not what I would consider "all men", that seems like two different personalities to me. I'd be happy to come back to that later, but I'm more interested in AWALT.

Sigh...this is what I'm talking about. Look, I'm not trying to bait or disprove anything, but the concept of AWALT from what I've read is not gender specific. Women want to trade up? Okay, but guys do that too. Before getting long winded, I'd like to hear a more substantial reply.

Specifically, though...AWALT?

That's a very good analogy. And again, it's my position that negative and destructive behaviours are not restricted to gender. If there are gender specific behaviours, even in a generalized context, I'd be happy to hear what they are. I had to Google hypergamy, and the idea I'm getting is that it's the tendency to 'trade up'? I'm pretty sure men do this too, unless I'm missing some sort of nuance, here.

The capacity to cheat and lie is human nature. I think men have dualistic expectations of mating strategy just the same, as far as I can tell.

Yes, I understand that and I agree. But could you elaborate? To me that just sounds like human nature without specifics.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
