I appreciate your reply and maybe a positive path will help. However this advice to someone who doubted the validity of a traumatic event for 9 years and blamed themselves wasn't about being the best person I could be, it was hiding in the shadows and made me someone weak. Anxiety is no friend. Not a friend anyone should be forced to have. Thank you for your reply though. Maybe it is all just my fault and in my head and I am weak and deserve to feel this way.

He's sweet and lovely. But I know I can be more for myself and by extension him. I don't want to sound weird but I like to think I can be more than enough and not just satisfactory. But mainly it's because it's affecting me emotionally which he has no bearing on. Of course I get your point but I know I'm getting to where I may start pushing him away as well and that's the last thing I want

Thanks for your reply. Currently on a plant food, low fat diet having removed dairy (this is heartbreaking for me) and trying lots of things. It's definitely helping the acne to a massive degree, but the scarring and rosacea are still a problem for me. In reality physically although my skin makes me uncomfortable I can manage the emotions from it (generally). This is dependent on if it's a substantial amount of money to her. She could earn a lot or have a multimillion pound trust fund so to her it could be nothing.
