Thank you. I appreciate that you recognize Botox and fillers are an option theres so much fear mongering around them. And I don't know, tbh I think of myself as fairly attractive but these past couple years I have noticed dramatic changes in my appearance like I look sadder and my skin looks less supple.

Tbh your point about how those celebrities isn't really helpful considering those women most definitely have had cosmetic procedures. I used to tell myself that to console myself and tell myself I have time but your late 20s is when facial sag can start because collagen production slows down. It has for me anyway, I guess I have shit genetics. I thought I wouldn't have to worry about wrinkles until I was like 40 because media has skewed what real aging looks like (and it starts early). I feel li…

I feel like I did myself a disservice by buying into that. Yes older women can be as beautiful but typically its through artificial means (like fillers or botox).

i totally agree. quality skincare and staying hydration has made a world of difference. on one side of my face my fold has gotten waaay less prominent so when i wear makeup you can hardly see it. the other side however will likely need filler of something similar. i'm likely going to get like half a syringe and see if i experience any negative side effects and go from there

hello - thank you for the thoughtful response. and i agree i don't think i wasted on too much. i used those years to educate myself on a myriad of topics and develop my sense of self. there are a staggering amount of people my age who admit to not knowing themselves or what they are passionate about. i do feel however i messed up in acting like i have all the time in the world. i have tried some face yoga but i don't think any will rectify severe volume loss. i am also trying gua shua. i am goin…

constructive advice helps. especially in regards to skin care or cosmetic procedures that might be helpful. i feel relief knowing botox or lasers or fillers are an option and its not as scary as most people talk it up to be. i started educating myself on skincare and i have seen slight improvements.

i get what youre saying. but your cheeks are like the focal point of your face and can make or break your face. whether a man is consciously aware of it or not things like sagging cheeks are not attractive and make you look haggard, tired, or sad.

totally agree - this is how i feel. i get so irritated when people give me platitudes or will bring up anecdotes and pretend like their personal experience is the norm when its not

i have pretty severe asymmetry and volume loss especially on my left side. i mean objectively i do. i have seen several estheticians and a plastic surgeon (consultation only) and they've also acknowledged this. anyone with eyes (who is willing to be honest) can see i have severe nasolabial folds. my mom for a while has tried to brush this off and finally gave up on trying to sugarcoat it and was like "youre still beautiful but if it helps i can direct you to my surgeon or you probably just need …

Thank you. I have moments where I feel extremely down about my facial aging but I am actively trying to improve myself physically and mentally. I have a pretty rigorous workout regimen so I am hoping that will make up for my face...ha (just kidding but also not really) and help my mental health.

I am. Tretinoin, vitamin c serum, sunscreen, and quitting alcohol have helped immensely. However a lot of the damage is done hence why I have so much volume loss at such a young age. I used to spend hours running in the Florida sun and I regret it deeply.

Thank you. And I know most men don't even know what marionette lines are but I know signs of aging will color a man's perception of you on a subconscious level. But thanks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
