your issue is you comparing yourself to others. you don’t need to be the best, or richest, or right. let go of all of that and you’d be so much happier. comparison is the thief of joy

I know many feminists, including myself that believe a woman should get the right to choose if she wants to be a stay at home wife/mom or if she wants to work. Please take two seconds of your day to look up the definition of feminism

right? like it takes two seconds to find the beliefs feminism values

The reason feminism has a negative connotation is the result of people assuming the belief system is based around putting woman before men. It’s named feminism because it’s focusing on how the patriarchy effects woman in more severe ways than it does men. (doesn’t take away the damage it does to guys) I’m not saying the patriarchy doesn’t effect men; you can see it by looking at things like male suicide rates. Because of the patriarchy, men were taught that the only emotion they are allowed to f…

That is one thing a lot of woman hate, generalizing them. A huge reason woman are perceived to want men to take care of them is because that’s what they were taught growing up. Also, what? you don’t think woman want someone that can be in touch with their emotions and allow themselves to be vulnerable? It seems like you’d be a shit partner if you believe these kinds of things

Also adding onto your point of needing to tell men that their approach is bad, i wholeheartedly agree! however, that could be unsafe for a woman to do. Thank you for sharing your opinion and being respectful abojt it

No, this sub genuinely pisses me off. the takes on this sub are ridiculous and usually consist of men talking about woman in weird, misogynistic, and objectifying ways. I literally just had to explain to a grown ass men that no, woman should not be grateful for getting objectified, sexualized, harassed, etc because at least it’s attention. However, it has improved my debating skills and has forced me to look at all perspectives to understand where someone might be coming from

Because woman are sexualized more. It’s easier to sexualize a woman’s autistic behaviour (Stimming when excited, troubles with eye contact, etc) than it is mens

you’re not realizing though that men are statistically more likely to use force to get sex

Yes, it works extremely well. Think about this, if you’re with a man alone and he keeps asking you to have sex, that is going to make you extremely uncomfortable and feel unsafe, to de-escalate the situation, it was just “easier” to have sex with said person. Another reason why coercion works is guilt tripping, society has implemented the idea that woman need to please men to keep them happy, so when you have a guy begging, saying shit like he has blue balls, that he bought you dinner so he dese…

Approaching itself isn’t wrong but a lot of the time, it’s not just approaching them in a friendly manner. It’s the approaching woman and getting aggressive or being persistent when they want to end the conversation or reject you, it’s approaching us when it’s obviously not the best time to do so (being alone at night, not being sober, etc) Its the fact that so many men are expecting something out of it. for example, this summer i had an older man stop me while i was out for a walk to tell me ho…

Either way, discrimination and any kind is extremely disgusting. I’m only gonna talk about why misandry is seen completely different compared to misogyny. Misogyny leads to woman getting raped, killed, hurt, etc. Misogyny has literally caused woman to not be able to go to school, work, do what makes them happy, or even fucking live. Misogyny is genuinely really hurting people. Misandry isn’t really causing any of those things. Again, it’s terrible to discriminate but it’s not nearly as harmful a…

No the reason woman are praised for being virgins is because they’re seen as pure and unused (which is disgusting) A large portion of people connect womans worth to their sexual life.

k keep that energy when you’re seeing shirtless guys walk around. It’s truly amazing you think woman are whores for dressing the way they want. It’s almost like their worth isn’t connected to the appearance 😱

a large portion of porn encourages hurting/using woman. it’s completely objectifies them

A big sign of actual confidence and not being overly confident/cocky is not having the need to compare yourself to others, but look up to them for what they’ve achieved.

It’s most likely because men have somewhat of a lower beauty expectation from society than woman

I know a lot of girls that are into bigger guys or just don’t care about their partners weight. Same with me, as long as their doing their best to care for and love their body, im content. I think the issue lies with men fetishizing fat woman. woman do that a lot less

The “Friend Zone” is a very weird concept to me. I think if you’ve ever been on the side of friendzoning someone, it can feel very, almost betraying in a sense. Of course people can’t control their feelings or attractions, but to think someone is a genuine friend to find out they just want to get with you, it’s a little disheartening

i personally feel as though it’s more men putting societal pressure on other men to lose their virginities, but that could be because all the woman i’ve surrounded myself with couldn’t give less fucks about a dude being a virgin and the men were the ones judging. A possibly reason why it’s “easier” for woman to have sex is because woman are considered to be objects to society and a fair amount of men; like they’re a prize. I’d say surround yourself with people that hold zero biases for virgins o…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
