For me personally mens rights is about dismantling this idea that all men are inherently evil and/or misogynistic. We as an entire gender don't deserve to be treated as monsters simply because of the wrong doings of a minority of men. Advocating for equal rights and equal standards for both men and women is the main idea, plus advocating against double standards and negative stereotypes.

It's funny to see how many feminists are arguing that equality shouldn't include sharing a burden such as this. Their version on equality is nowhere near the true definition.
