My (First!) Weekly Self Reflection School: We’re pretty far into the semester now and I’m feeling more and more burnt out. I started with just two minute intervals! It was really hard at first because I was in the habit of just constantly thinking of the things that cause me the most anxiety. It's important to remember to be patient with yourself and not beat yourself up for getting distracted. I also have anxiety! Here are a few of my before bed strategies: -Mindfulness: I know you don't want to sit in a chair and "do nothing," but this is the single biggest thing that has helped me combat anxiety. I take about 10 minutes to sit and do literally nothing but listen to my breathing. When my thoughts stray to anything else I bring them back to the sound of my own breath.
