This teacher was rightfully relieved of her job, humiliated in front of her community and in national media, put on probation, etc... And perhaps the US definition of rape should include any instance where an adult performs oral sex on a minor, but so far it doesn’t, and I cannot recall ever seeing it labeled rape by news publications, regardless of the genders of those involved. Are you suggesting that instances of the same offense committed by male teachers have been defined as rape in the new…

I think you will benefit from spending some time reading up on the history of civil rights and activism. One thing you will find is that the people who made progress by advocating for the rights of any group were either; A. Not afraid of others rejecting their views or B. Afraid, but courageous and determined enough to make a difference, that they were willing to endure opposition.
