2	Is it weird if I go to a college party alone? I don't think it's weird at all. From a college kid perspective, it might seem weird not to have a group of friends to flock back to if things aren't going well with whoever you're scouting out. But think about it this way - when you're alone, you have an air of mystery about yourself. People can't judge you (for better of for worse) based on your group of friends. Especially this one: When you hit the high point in the conversation (the girl is laughing, initiates kino etc), half turn from her, get your phone out and start reading something. Then turn back, smile and re-initiate conversation. This is so blatantly rude. If a guy I just met did this to me, it would be an instant turnoff.
