Step 1 is trash. Empathy??? You shouldnt be explaining yourself. You see a cute girl, you walk up to cute girl and start a conversation. Approaching isnt weird inherently so dont act like it is. Most girls actually get turned on a bit if they think you werent even scared of rejection bc shes so pretty that you had to walk up and start a conversation.
