I think thats a bit of a stretch. Men's rights aims to bring attention to one sided systems like adoption laws, child custody laws, circumsision laws, divorce laws, etc. Saying things "Women are just as violent" and "Women can victimize other women", while true, only serve as argumentative fallacies when applied to actual Men's Rights Posts like OPs and comments like yours are the reason why many people think Men's Rights activists are simply people who hate women, which is not true.

I know its a lot easier to think when its not happening to you, but wouldnt it be a good strategy at that point to scatter like roaches? It looks like there are more men in the van then outside it. They cant catch all of us.

Anecdotally, I think another reason might be that the average man doesnt really care if someone wants to make their own gendered group. If a man makes a mens only group (Im not going to say all women, but it seems like more and more each day) women will rise up with arms about inequality, sexism, etc. If a woman makes an all female group, a large majority of men will just continue on with thier lives as normal.

I have one for you. Back when I was at University a female classmate and I got the same answer wrong on a test. Her final grade was a 90% giving her an A- and my final grade was an 89% giving me a B+. But how?! It was the same question worth the same amount of points! When I asked the professor why he gave her a higher grade than me he said "I knew that if I gave her a B she would start complaining and I didnt feel like dealing with that", like, wtf?? Had YOU actually read it you would have known that he sent a text message after the "date" saying he would still pay for the drinks, so even HE thought it was a good idea to reiterate it. It's all just feminist propaganda. Notice how women only want equal representation in fields that are prestigious/high paying. You'll never see a feminist fighting to get more women into dangerous jobs with high mortality rates or positions that require backbreaking labor. Feminists don't want equality, they want an upper hand. Simple as.

If I can be blunt, think the reason is you're missing the point of this particular argument. Your saying that you want to change the laws to enforce equality between genders. That's great, and I hope it actually happens. What I'm arguing is that the genders should be held equally against the current laws. How can we expect them to hold the genders equally to any new law, if they aren't doing that right now with the current laws.
/r/MensRights23/09/20 05:56 PM
7

I'm just gunna repeat what I answered to someone else above. I don't make the rules, so if people get treated unfairly we need to change that as a society. In the meantime its only equal to hold both genders to the same rules that have already been established.
/r/MensRights23/09/20 05:49 PM
8

unfortunate for both genders I'm not arguing against that. Unfortunately I'm not the one that makes the rules/laws. So if certain rules are laid out in these situations, its only fair it applies to both genders equally, whether I agree with the rule or not.

I hate the "if you switch the genders" cliche arguement so I feel wired saying this but... Could you imagine an app that would replace female historical figures with male figures of the same time period? The backlash would be ridiculous.

100%. This is more of a "bad thing happened to a woman" (whether or not it was warranted is irrelevant), than it is a woman trying to use her pass and getting denied.

Then they'll complain that their making 70% less than a man makes.

Here's an upvote. It's one thing to claim something and ask for proof, but this person is basically saying "yea I don't believe this so can someone who's time is less valuable than mine do the work and show me the proof" Look it up your damn self.

“I’m so sad to hear this,” Ansari allegedly responded. “Clearly, I misread things in the moment and I’m truly sorry.” What an asshole. /s

Is this really PPD? I mean it just sounds like a regular spat between two people, I don't see her using her female card or anything. Just my two cents.

When I saw the stories about men covering women, all I could think about was that Bill Burr rant where he's talking about "women and children first".

"I just came out to myself recently and although I may or may not have started my hormone treatment it is not something that I have to discuss, let alone prove, to someone whom I do not know intimately. If you are saying that I cannot use the bathroom that corresponds to how I see myself I guess Ill just go to McDonalds. "

I still feel like this is part of an even bigger publicity stunt just to get Kathy Griffin into the spotlight. I don't know how to explain it where it wouldn't sound too crazy, but I wouldn't be surprised if certain celebrities agree to and even pay the industry for these types of "scandals". Anyway Im kinda drunk so take all this with a grain of salt.

I liked the fact that it was the (wife?) of the man who kicked the other woman in the head. Women can deny the pussy pass too.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
