My first long term relationship was with a more quiet girl. Not shy but definitely quiet and not super open. So i have her back at my place and i put on a movie and we’re chilling on my bed cause i don’t have anywhere else to sit, partially by design and partially out of laziness. I don’t think this is going anywhere. Don’t think she’s into me at all. So i literally just lay down cause I’m bored. She lays down next to me and i say fuck it and start cuddling with her. Turns out she was into me lo…

I️ have a buddy who does this shit all the time. He can open and get positive reactions (always opens indirect, if it matters) and will get IOIs but never pushes the interaction. Gets a few numbers, and has gotten a couple lays, but he could be doing so much better if he would just escalate physically and throw in some sexual humor.

"I'm going to kiss you now" Pause two seconds with eye contact. Then go in for the kiss. Pause is important.

Fuck that. Online dating can be really beneficial. Calibrates messaging and text game. Forces guys to push the interaction and get numbers to shift over.

Candles. Sound bar. Clean. Fresh sheets. Trash can with a lid. Wet wipes. Spare toothbrush. Clean guest towels. Just stuff off the top of my head every guy should have going for him in his place.

You're in straight interview mode. Instead of asking questions make assumptions. "I bet you're a bio major" or "you look you're majoring in forensics or something" Then they either say yes or no and ask why you thought that or how you knew and it's really easy to bullshit reasons like "you seemed like a nice girl but with like a dark side to you" for forensics then that gets them into "what do you mean dark side" etc. If anything you want to get them off talking about college cause that's what e…

This is weird to me and I don't see how it's easier. But I guess my problem is more forgetting to make eye contact rather than feeling uncomfortable with it.

Fear of success is fear of failure. You said yourself you're afraid of getting somewhere because of what comes after. So I guess first step is admitting you are 100% afraid of being rejected. I used to have this problem. I was terrified to text some girls cause then I would have to go on a date with them! The. Maybe even another date! So each each progression felt like more of rejection than being ifnbores by a girl I'm hitting on. Cause who cares if some girl who saw you for three seconds didn'…

Problem with that is that you never really progress in your day to day. I got into pickup cause I was sick of being alone in my room all the time with crippling social anxiety. If I had only ever gone out of my shell on crazy holidays, then I would have made no progress. I would just be biding my time mentally masturbating about my next experience until I got there. My biggest problem after I finally got over the first few humps of social anxiety was that I could only really find success if I wa…

If you weren't having luck on OKC, your pictures probably sucked. As an average looking dude, if you have any selfies or especially webcam photos, you're fucked. You gotta have candids especially cause that signifies that you're a sociable person who was out with good friends. I also like candids because I feel like they're saying "hey look at me, I do stuff and enjoy myself instead of just posing for pictures."

Tall girls don't really do it for me. I know there's the idea that taller women are like model-esque and legs for days and whatnot. Meh. I'm very much a middle of the road guy when it comes to height. Like 5'3" - 5'8" is perfect for me.

they're fucking guys more attractive than us. seriously though, a ton of women are looking to have no strings attached sex, cause sex is fun and they enjoy sex too. they're just typically able to be more selective about it. so if a guy approaches but he's weird, she just waits for the next approach to see if she wants to fuck the next guy. go be that next guy.
/r/seduction07/06/16 04:27 AM

Desperateness lol. And I enjoyed parts of your article. The problem I have with it is that it's too presumptive in assuming that anyone who goes direct is immediately putting her on a pedestal and is trying to get with her. Being direct is just a way to open. And then you continue the conversation to find out if you're interested in her, same as what you do. There's not necessarily a desire that she has to be the one or that you need to get her. Just hi you're cute then talk and decide if you wa…

I prefer fuck/marry/kill. Then you can pick apart why they chose who they chose for each, make fun of their tastes, etc. In seddit terms, this is an easy opportunity for push-pull and getting them to qualify. It's also really easy to remember and easy to get into. Though your games do have a novelty factor.

You will get rejected all the time in life. Do you go cry in a hole? Or do you keep doing the things you enjoy and spend time with the people you love? Same thing on a smaller scale. You face rejection but instead of giving up for the night/week/forever, you keep having fun. You keep talking to people, you keep dancing, you keep enjoying yourself. Cause your entire night is not based on whether one girl is into you or not.

that's why i got into game. i was in a car accident, and some friends came to visit me at my house. my mom mentioned something about me getting a girlfriend. and my female friend said, oh he'll get a girlfriend. he's such a nice guy. boom. hit me like a ton of bricks. i was just a nice guy to the world.

most canned openers don't have a natural seque anyway, or at least not one that's actually used. example: "hey, i really like your style" so the seque is what? where'd you buy your clothes? or you say "yeah, those boots are really nice" and then she starts talking about where she got them or just says "oh thank you" again? another example: "i know this is random, but i just thought you were cute and wanted to say hi" so that's just a long version of "hi i'm __" except with explicit intent. so yo…

1) welcome to your 20s 2) chill the fuck out, you're going to be here a while seriously though, you need to remember that it's not gonna all happen in one day, or even one month, or even one year. you're talking about a complete overhaul. every foundational tenet (is that redundant?) of your mental framework is being uprooted, examined, then altered as you see fit. and then everything else about you has to adjust to that alteration. you don't get to just "buy" a new personality. you can't spend …

Well, there's a go game that I know some people play. Basically, if your buddy points to a woman and says "'go" you have to approach her immediately. If you fail to do so, you have to drop and do 10 pushups. To get into state, most people recommend just opening the first few women you see regardless of attractiveness. My buddy and I always used to try to get pictures with strangers or ask them silly questions like "which one of us has the more punchable face?" just to get in a mood of having fun…

I'm in that position now. Really fought it earlier on and am still kind of fighting the idea of being committed like this. Ultimately, she's wonderful to me and makes me very happy. So I don't worry about pursuing other women. This is pretty dope. It's ideas like this that make me believe every dude should get into seduction. I never really made progress in overcoming social anxiety until I got into pickup. The concepts and tools given in this and other communities translate to every aspect of life. Even now as I'm in a LTR, I'm still reading and trying to apply social skills because not going out to game makes me feel like those skills are slipping.

The only time not making eye contact looks like eye contact is if you're giving a speech or presentation. Face to face, look at her eyes. Pick one eye and don't switch back and forth. Maintain eye contact even when you're talking. It's not creepy. It's how normal people communicate.

Fair enough I guess. But still totally out of blue even with a disclaimer. As a seddit bro, I'm more interested in why you have a fear of boring her. It seems like you have hobbies and are cultivating a lifestyle meaningful to yourself.

First off remember this should be fun man. Maybe it's cause I got most of my numbers off okc in recent years, but I learned to not care if they didn't text back and just kind of texted whatever I wanted to. In any case, I mainly used texting to handle logistics. When and where. Also saying you don't want to interfere makes you seem too supplicationg in my book. I would have just said "nah, I just wanted to invite you out to x event on y night. We should go together."

I know a tons of guys who had bad family experiences who are good with women. That's not to say they're good with relationships though. For me, I was horrible with women for a number of reasons. In terms of my parents, yeah dad never talked to me or gave me advice about women and wasn't really a huge influence in my life during my adolescence. I never had success on tinder since it's a harder game for me than okc, but here's my thoughts: Only the first one was a flake. The next three you fucking waited too long. Couple days of no text? If you have her number, set something up. Then you don't have to text her again til the day of your date. And it might be better not to ask for availability. If she wants you to come over, just say you'll be there Friday at 10 or whatever.

This has been mentioned a lot here and in other subs, but basically, don't use a filter. You run out of things to say cause you're looking for the right thing to say. Say whatever comes to mind. Don't worry about transitions or if it's a complete shift in conversation. They won't care how you got onto a new topic if that topic provides good conversation. And think about this: if you really hate awkward silences and the other person brings up a random new topic, are you thinking "that was random"…

Like the wild and warrantless assumption you made about why that dude might find the guy in the video unattractive? Reasoning ability indeed. Maybe you're not bad with women at all. And I was totally incorrect. But you came out of left field with that, as evidenced by the downvotes, so I used heuristics. If I made an incorrect assumption then my bad. I would say that he's not responsible for that first part. If she wants to leave she can leave. How many times have any of us been blown out of a set? And how many puas have posted up videos of them getting blown out? It happens. If she didn't want to be there, she could leave. And when the biggest problem among newbies is approach anxiety, I think this does teach the seddit community something useful. That you can approach! Never look anywhere other than her eyes if you're trying to make ye contact. Why the hell would you look between her eyebrows? Also, since she's a woman, she'll probably break eye contact first most of the time, so you can pretty much just keep strong eye contact the entire time. And since a lot of people don't maintain eye contact constantly when it's their turn to speak, you really shouldn't have to worry about staring her down while she's talking.

I consider it the second most important factor in my progress as a man. The first was the first simple pickup video I ever watched that put me onto pickup in general and completely flipped my entire paradigm of what was possible and how I could relate to women. In models, Manson specifically addresses this when he gives the example of the interesting guy who gets married and then lets everything that made him interesting fall by the wayside, thus becoming overly invested in her, causing her to lose attraction. Tl;dr your life is not one person.

1) Mark Manson (because, of course, I'm gonna talk about Mark Manson) said essentially the same thing in Models. You have to make a move quickly to cash in on receptive women and potentially sway neutral women before they inevitably default to unreceptive. 2) my friend has a huge problem with kino, but it's easily the most important part of being seen as sexual, imo (i'm sure some puas have said the same). if you don't touch her, you're a friend at best.

Good point about maintaining your frame. That's one of the things I think RSD gets right. I think the appeal for more mainline pickup theory is that it's a bit more step by step. But that's also a trap due to analysis paralysis so it's a bit of a toss up.

Oh okay I see what you're saying. Thanks for clarifying. I'm not sure he actually says that though. I always feel like what's holding me back is that my repertoire voice doesn't match what I expect. So I've been trying to read out loud in a deep voice and also change the way I "hear" my inner thinking voice so that its in my deep voice and not in my normal voice. I'll let you know how it works.

social challenges. do them. for right now, dont worry about doing them in the context of getting with women. we're trying to build a baseline confidence and comfort here. high five a random person. any person will do. "nice shirt! high five!" then dont stop until you get five of them. ten of them. fifteen of them. protip: black people are way more likely to give high fives than others. wear a stupid hat. thats all you have to do. just pick a stupid hat and wear it. doesnt even have to be like a …

make eye contact as normal. after exchanging a few sentences, ask her to take them off. you can be very direct and say "its hard to make eye contact with you wearing those." simplepickup has done this a few times.

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/19374216/ns/health-sexual_health/t/new-survey-tells-how-much-sex-were-having/ that link says 7 and is based off a cdc survey. no idea the methodology used or how it breaks down by age group. 29% of men have 15+ sexual partners.

No, you raise a good point. Film adaptations are typically disappointing because there's no way you can include all the nuance, character development, subtle interactions and motivations, inner dialogue, atmosphere, etc in a 2 hour film or even over a bloated trilogy cough the hobbit cough But as standalone films, I think they still work.

Yeah, I just went back and re-read it. You both are correct.

I just went back and re-read the scene, and you are correct. Considering her age and the role of her brother in the matter, the overall sense of consensual still needs to be a little loose, but the actual act of sex was clearly consensual. He was tender and asked her explicitly for consent, which she explicitly gave.

The show is actually what got me into the books, in this case. And there are some pretty solid film adaptations of books. But I don't typically enjoy reading fiction, so I normally have not read the source material anyway.
/r/MensRights26/04/14 03:17 AM

I don't see how a twelve year old being sold to a man by her older brother was ever intended to be "clearly consensual."

My problem is that I honestly have no idea how I truly feel about pickup anymore. In the beginning I was running game a lot and got numbers and was having so much fun. I remember how excited I was to flirt and dance and make out. But I've just kind of lost my enthusiasm. It all jut feels like a chore now and I never feel like going out. Last time I went out was for New Years and I made out with this chick but I'm still not motivated to keep trying. Out with my boys tonight and I'm sitting in a q…

That video is just of Kong talking. I know there's a video that shows him making out with that girl. In the same video, there's also a short clip of Kong sitting on the bed, and a girl comes over and kisses him.

As a hardcore introvert and someone who doesn't practice pickup a lot, what to do when I just get tired? After going out and rocking it a few nights in a row, I was fucking wrecked for like three weeks. I'm still not back into a place where I can really go high energy again. It feels so vapid and tedious. What kind of reframes or core beliefs could I have that would combat that low energy attitude of "I'm way too tired for this shit"? It's not like I can just go do it anyway like I would with th…

Jesus fuck. Bitch is crazy. On the plus side, kind of +1 for humanity overall since the people in the crowd who thought he was full of shit still immediately went to help him and see if he was okay.

This is AWESOME. Not that I'm exactly having a lot of sex (or really, any sex at all right now if I'm being honest), but my biggest fear in terms of men's rights is having some chick fuck over my life with an unwanted pregnancy.
