5	Mistakes people make when they first start texting someone they like It depends on whether you and the other person consider texting to be an ongoing conversation or not. If so, just don’t reply when they haven’t asked you a question and the conversation seems to have hit a lull, (or don’t double text if they didn’t reply). You can message them again later. If not, just end it as you would a phone call, and say hello again another time.
