In Canada, this is exactly what the law is. Legal consent cannot be given when one is intoxicated, and in the case of a sexual act this constitutes sexual assault. When you think about the amount of people who get it on while tipsy, this is kind of scary for any gender, as in the eyes of the law the act is viewed as sexual assault.

They are pretty cute sometimes, though some more than others :P. The super tiny premature babies are really adorable, and is so amazing sometimes seeing how the parents look at their new children, so full of love and wonder. It's just a cool place to be :).

Hello, OThomson. So far, as a student nurse during my clinical practicums, parents have actually been quite supportive, especially the younger ones. There have been a few minor issues when breastfeeding mothers aren't comfortable receiving help from a male, but so far that has been it. I find that in general parents don't seem to care whether you're male or female when the life of their newborn child is in danger, as long as you're doing all you can to help him/her.

No, that procedure is done by a doctor. I administer pain medication and take care of the infants post surgery. I would never perform something like that on an infant.

I'm in my fourth year of University to be an RN. In addition to spending time on the neonatal intensive care unit during my maternity clinical practicum in third year, my major clinical practicum was also on the NICU, as well as my student nursing job over the summer. Yes, I do have sources. I did my main paper in my nursing knowledge class as well as my maternity class on neonatal pain identification and management. Student nurse specializing in neonates here. I don't know where the statistic 96% came from (at least regarding Canada), but if an infant was circumcised here without any sort of pain control there would be a complete and utter shitstorm in the hospital. We take neonatal pain control very seriously.

There is. We test for PSA (prostate specific antigen), but the test isn't very reliable. Use your good friend google for more information. PS: Prostate cancer is a very slowly progressing cancer; you're more likely to die with it than from it. Breast cancer is the other way around, having a high rate of metastasis because of the surrounding lymphatic tissue.
