| 2 | Forever Alone comes to seddit - Ask Us AnythingWow, fantastic answer. You somehow managed to bring Aristotle, Epicurus, Buddha and Jesus into the discussion. I absolutely completely agree with everything you wrote, and 'signaling' seems a very interesting topic, I will definitely do some research on that. I think one point that my original post was focused on, was more male-to-male (non-sexual) relationships as opposed to male-to-female. Meaning my interactions with community guys (as a guy myself) have for the most part, not been pleasant. … | /r/seduction | 12/01/12 12:10 AM |
| 1 | Forever Alone comes to seddit - Ask Us AnythingThat is a heavy question. The answer is I have no idea. I certainly hope there is a method that I can learn, that I feel is congruent with who I am and what I believe in, but I haven't read every pua method out there so I really don't know. My concern is that guys who started off as genuinely nice guys (although terrible at dealing with women), may become more outgoing, confident, better w women, but as an unintended side effect, they may also become more superficial as they immerse themselves i… | /r/seduction | 11/01/12 10:01 PM |
| 1 | Forever Alone comes to seddit - Ask Us AnythingOkay, but let's say someone is charismatic enough to hide it. It still doesn't change the fact that their mentality is almost too calculating in a sense that everything is a means to get what they want. What I'm saying is that pua tends to objectify absolutely everything about human interaction and turns it into something very formulaic / numerical and objectified. While that may be efficient, what ends up happening is that guys who learn this stuff start seeing everything in the same light, whi… | /r/seduction | 11/01/12 09:33 PM |
| 6 | Forever Alone comes to seddit - Ask Us AnythingI've met a few community guys. The problem is they are severely unlikeable people. Meaning they act according to a value based system, or how much value they will obtain from knowing you. While all people do that to some extent, community guys take it to another level. They will analyze if a guy will help them look good, or if he can potentially lead to girls, or maybe he has connections in some business. Basically they become extremely superficial people. | /r/seduction | 11/01/12 08:56 PM |
