I would say that not acknowledging individual factors and a continuous pointing fingers at white men doesn't really help move things forward. Education is what is especially needed along with psychological awareness of the issues that different groups face. We need to come together to solve the issue and unfortunately there is an us vs them approach to many things and I'm saying this as a left leaning person myself.

Maybe you are missing the point that lived experiences differ in America based on skin color. In America, the lived experiences of a black person is drastically different from the average white person and maybe it would do us all good to acknowledge this.

The comment I replied to didn't talk about how it was used. It was talking about CRT and what it is. As a white person, you could look at how it is being used and simply say that CRT is bad while people like me are suffering from the very things that the theory itself expounds upon.

A POC who is told all their lives that society is racist against them will see racism when it doesn't exist. In a society built off of slave labor of a specific group there will always be racism thereafter unless specifically addressed. Because traditionally men have been the pursuers and women decide whether to accept or reject. Combine that with a higher average sex drive in men and social conditioning to always pursue you tend to have less lonely women. It's an ideology bent out of shape because it's desperately trying to deny the fact that men are victims of society too. I like to point out that men have the highest suicide rates among the cis gendered and if we use the risk of suicide for trans-men and women to advocate for their needs why aren't we doing the same for cismen? A lot of black women perpetuate a lot of things because when it comes to academia they have an advantage whereas a black male poses a threat subconsciously in people who have been socially conditioned in a system that is white supremacist. Black boys are left behind in academia and it isn't because they are stupid or even more prone to making worse decisions, it is because there is less focus on them to mitigate the factors that lead to less matriculation through school.

Maybe. I think Incels aren't entirely not at fault here though. Very true for a large amount of them. My SO is a doctor I met in medical school and unfortunately my career got derailed, but thebone thing that is motivating me is my own black son that I want to provide for. It's worse considering the graduating rates of men in school. We are not privileged in academia. The whole hypermasculine/bestial subconscious opinion of black men is apparent even in academia. Black women do not have this issue and this creates a gap.
