And that shouldn't be the case. Incels are, in my view, pathetic creatures who whine about their ugliness and lack of sex appeal. MGTOW is for people who CHOOSE to rise above female bullshit, not for those who are angry cos they wish women would talk to them. If you have no options to start with, how can you really claim to be able to go your own way?

Same here. I got plenty of FWBs, but no trust.

Similar realization at 34 for me. My happiness as a man is unrelated to anything a woman can bring me. I feel so free and so happy in that knowledge, and I hope others find it too. Edit: username concerns idiots at work, not relationships.

Dudes are still gonna pump and dump. Just cos you want something different, don't mean you know how to get it.

Was it meant to be a sub laughing at female incels? I thought it was a post-wall shame fest. Either way, this post gives women shit about their blatant hypergamy. Do you also think a guy's worth is defined by his job?
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen06/10/17 07:24 AM
2

Yeah exactly. When you're not outcome independent you put too much pressure on things and stop being yourself. The attractiveness isn't even the factor here, it's the amount you want it.

That was amazing in its accuracy

Fair points. I hadn't realised it came across as limiting. The idea of a peak is just that though, I guess.

Did this sub become a scientific journal overnight? It was just an idea, like 99% of posts on here that have no basis in social psychology.

Why does her receiving attention frustrate you? And why tell random international forum readers, rather than the perpetrators?
/r/seduction13/08/17 08:38 AM

You're absolutely right. The correct response here is that she's trying to cut you off, so cut her off. Goodbye. Walk away. Anything else is window dressing.

Yes this, but inner game really makes you invulnerable I feel. Even if you don't ever get many girls, having a strong ego remains satisfying.

You're projecting some weird fear of women onto us. Don't do that. There are many, more dignified, reasons we of TRP opt to remain single.
/r/askTRP30/04/17 12:24 PM
2

I think handle is the wrong premise. That implies you can manage it and return to the old status quo. It happens from time to time, girls sometimes want more than we want to give. It's over at that point. You don't handle it, you be honest and let them leave, as you did.

Thank you for your considered response, and for the link. They provide two perspectives. Your post suggests that the girl does contribute in her own way, and that maybe I shouldn't write off the value of her component. I'm not sure I agree, but I can see it's a good way to look at things. Your link in the edit (and also in your post) says that women want and expect a guy to be decisive, and to ask for things that he wants. I completely agree with your likening that to the business world, in whic…

Serious admission here: All my life I've struggled with the mindset that I have to be the initiator. It pisses me off. I take care of myself, running, gym, etc, good income blah blah. Plus girls wanna fuck just as much as guys. Why do I have to do the heavy lifting for us both? You're exactly right though, I've scored countless times by approaching, and never through inaction. I really don't mean to sound arrogant, it just seems unfair. Anyone else ever struggle with this?

Don't forget to have your phone open taking notes and color coding while you're approaching.
/r/seduction18/02/17 02:50 PM

What she says, or what any women says to you in that situation is irrelevant. You approach and escalate for YOUR benefit, to demonstrate to yourself that you believe you're 'worth it', and you wont fear anxiety. That's the basis of outcome independence. When you approach and talk to a girl you don't know, you already won. You have earned your self respect, and self esteem will follow. Her words to you, creepy or nice, are simply irrelevant.
/r/seduction06/02/17 01:56 PM
1

It's hard for them cos they are totally incapable of approaching someone they want to date. So they are resigned to whoever approaches them. I'll stick with male difficulties, thanks. Edit: not actually suggesting they 'cant', more that they lack the bravery to do so.
/r/seduction26/01/17 11:52 PM

I got banned from there for pointing out the huge discrepancies between mods. TRP has no consistent message because it's mods vary from MGTOW to total asshat 'seduction masters'.

I had no evidence that sub was so biased and fucked until now, but I always felt the comments sections were festering pustules of whiteknight assholes. Guess I know why.

I know you're trying, but don't invoke the IQ argument against cultures that aren't educated in English. The construct isn't designed to be used that way, and fucks up your argument.

I like this ideology. It serves to demote women off the pedestal - a place I'm happy to say TRP has helped me to see they don't belong.

Maybe, but this runs counter to the general advice of 'cocky funny' etc. I'm a quiet guy who generally smirks rather than comments, it really doesn't help.

"Aged 39, I went out with a tall, bald accountant. He was younger than me and obviously uncommitted, but I was determined to somehow make it work. 'I'd shelved my dream of the perfect marriage by now and I took risks with contraception. I was quite prepared to bring a baby up alone if I had to." This is the creepiest shit ever. A woman admitting she played around with the protection, happy to have a kid if it happens. Fucked.
/r/TheRedPill01/06/16 12:09 PM

This is so fucked. What? I actually worked harder than your lazy duplicitous ass and my reward for having to entertain you over dinner is to pay for everything? Are you kidding? What kind of shit deal is that? MGTOW is the only way.

My God. An incredible read. Mostly because you just wrote my story from 2012-14. If I may - I moved from Brisbane to Sydney to start a masters degree. Things weren't going well with the girl I was with, so we broke up. Found a new girl (admittedly, too quickly) in Sydney. Girl 1 did word for word what you described, with the suicide threats, the month of peace after seeing me, all of it. Girl 2 was tearing at me and hating every bit of that. She was such an unreasonable bitch in my view. I wonde…

That's an interesting theory, thank you for linking it. They postulate that verbal paired associate learning (an excellent indicator of hippocampal integrity) is more difficult in older adults due to improved language ability. Unfortunately, that's rubbish, as improved verbal and language skills are known to be associated with improved PAL scores. For your question though, no, we measure only 'simple' processing speed, as that's the most unconfounded way to test white matter health. Adding compl…

Appreciate the post, some brutal examples. Serious question - you say you can rely only on your mother and male friends. How do you rationalise a mother (who was once one of these women) now having the empathy to support, if that empathy wasn't there all along?
/r/TheRedPill08/05/16 10:12 PM

I guess this resonates with me most. We can be successful in all other domains, but relationships aren't in your control. Gotta wonder why that's the area I fail most in.

I lost my best friend of 20 years because his wife didn't like him enjoying himself with me. Actually I suspect it was because she's jealous of my job. I felt bad for myself, then bad for him, then realised that weak cuck can fucking keep his life of servitude. Fuck him.
/r/MGTOW08/05/16 07:18 AM

Interesting you got upvoted for that sentiment here. In MGTOW anything close to suggesting women vary at all gets you buried.

A valid point, and agreed that venting is useful. I guess it just seems that we (collectively) tend to focus so much on what we don't like, making us bitter. Id like life to be greater than anger at people who don't know I exist.

You're right. This sub has become, or maybe always was, a retirement community for bitter old red pillers who should've turned off their computers and walked outside already. I love the idea of MGTOW - I do it in my life. I have attractive female options, a high status job. But my path is my own. People here would rather just bitch about women than advance themselves.
/r/MGTOW04/05/16 09:59 PM

I literally cannot even understand your poorly connected words. It's hostile fuckwits like you that prevent this sub being taken more seriously by others.

You just generalised 50% of the worlds population. That kind of bullshit repells people from TRP and this sub.
/r/MGTOW29/04/16 06:24 AM

I know generalisations are comfortable, and maybe AWALT, but don't you feel like maybe she is just individually an unempathic bitch? Or maybe you've never opened up before and she wasn't expecting it. There are always other possibilities. I hope you're doing better, sounds like you've been under a lot of pressure recently.

This'll be my first comment in this sub and I wonder if it gets me banned. A lot of this RP stuff is horseshit, it suffers from physics envy. Experience, and these field reports, tell me that you don't need to neg, to put on an air, to be someone you're not. You need to have presence. That is all. Work your inner game till you know you're someone, and then carry yourself like that someone. And if you can find it within yourself to actually be interested in what she's saying, so much the easier. …

I agree with both points. A nice car with a manual transmission is a pleasure to drive, a reminder of why you're bothering. But one of the happiest days of my driving life was when I sold mine and bought a shitter. I could leave it unlocked in a bad street.

There are advantages to travel that make it worthwhile, in my view. Not least the opportunity to broaden your interests as you develop your independent and satisfied mindset. .

I really appreciated this post. From my limited understanding of the different movements, it sounds like you're mentally leaving TRP and heading to MGTOW. Which is kinda where I'm at. From where I'm sitting, in person interactions are now sometimes as bad as online ones. Two days ago, I took a girl on a date. At the end of it, she told me she already has a boyfriend, but she was hinting at some on-the-side action. No, I wouldn't do that to another guy. Waste of time. I really don't want this to …
