Blows my mind that the article complains that sentences for rape are lower than other things like violent crime and murder. They SHOULD be lower, killing someone is a hell of a lot worse then forcing them to have sex.

“We forget about the string of witnesses at her trial who testified that they had seen bruises on her arms and neck and that she had called 911 repeatedly and that John had bragged to friends about forcing his wife to have sex. In the years since the trial, he was arrested several times and served jail time for violence against two different women. (He denied the allegations.)” https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2019/01/30/arts/television/lorena-bobbitt-documentary-jordan-peele.amp.htm…

He literally bragged to his friends about raping her. But okay man, i’m sure you know he’s 100% innocent and you’re not just saying that because you’re a woman hater. I swear half the people in this sub don’t actually care about men’s rights, they’re just incels.

So you’re just gonna ignore the part where he used to brag about raping his wife? How are you gonna explain that one away?

People like you are the reason nobody takes men’s rights seriously. You make all of us look bad. He was acquitted, sure. And OJ was innocent. 40+ witnesses testified saying they had seen her multiple times with bruises all over her arms. Yes, he did.
/r/MensRights01/02/19 04:51 AM

I mean, yeah, if your wife repeatedly raped and beat you I wouldn’t feel that bad for her if you killed her.

It wasn’t just “because she was mad”. He beat her repeatedly and raped her. Yes it’s fucked up but he 100% deserved it.
/r/MensRights01/02/19 03:16 AM

No...he was acquitted of marital rape BEFOREhand. And there were multiple witnesses that went on trial to say she had bruises numerous times in public.

Gonna be completely honest, I thought it was fucked up until I read further into it and it turns out he raped her and beat her multiple times. He deserved it.

Hope you reported any money you’ve made off of craigslist, ebay, selling at pawn shops, GameStop, etc. If you did, awesome. If not, stop being a hypocritical asshole who hates women.

Definitely not. After Training Day Ethan Hawke kinda blew up. Uma Thurman lost most of her popularity within the last decade I feel like, and I haven’t heard anything at all about her in years.

“Of course all sexual offences are serious and the effects in the victim can be significant but in my submission there's a significant difference to be made where it is the defendant who is penetrated and not the victim.” Go ahead and lock this guy up too. Rape only matters when it happens to women!
/r/PussyPass17/05/18 05:14 AM

dude. almost all rape cases end up being “he said, she said” and people get their lives ruined. NO evidence is needed nowadays.
/r/MensRights07/05/18 01:33 AM

Bill Cosby was found guilty because the judge was a moron. They wouldn’t accept evidence from a co-worker who said the woman admitted she made it all up for a payout, and also wouldn’t accept evidence from another witness that contradicted the events that happened that night.
/r/MensRights05/05/18 01:11 AM

Bullshit. No feminist ever has suddenly accepted something when presented with logic. If they did, we wouldn’t need this sub.

The fact that she could even want to be with another guy means she isn’t the one. He did the right thing.

Because just because a collective group is likely to do something more than another, that doesn’t mean that any ONE individual will. How is a statistic based on a collective group and not any one individual NOT discriminatory?

Not really sure why this needs to be discussed in the sub. We’re supposed to be advocating men’s rights, not just trashing random women because they’re assholes. Nothing that happened here was illegal; morally wrong, yes, but the dude should’ve known who he married. This kinda stuff just makes our sub look as bad as those fem subs that just trash men.

That’s exactly what you implied, lmfao. You said “i’m curious what you think happened three generations ago, considering slavery ended five generations ago”. As if that means they would suddenly be successful just because they aren’t in chains. Maybe don’t use stupid ass logic if you don’t want to be called out on it.
/r/MensRights05/04/18 02:03 AM
7

You seriously think that just because slavery ended blacks were immediately able to land any kind of job they wanted? It wasn’t even until the late 60’s that the Civil Rights movement achieved simple rights, like fair voting or non segregated working places. Just because slavery ended “five generations ago” doesn’t mean that they suddenly all achieved the same economic status as whites.

it shouldn’t matter if they’re already over-represented. you shouldn’t hire for “diversity”, you should hire based on who has the best skills, experience, etc regardless of their race or gender.

that’s not true at all, actually. radical capitalism would essentially just be anarchy.

not sure you understand the definition of “unparalleled”. it doesn’t mean the U.S. is the “only free country”. it means it is by far the best in terms of freedoms granted to us, but that doesn’t at all mean that there aren’t other countries that are free.
