"I made other plans. I'll be around on [insert day] if you ever wanna come by my place." Then don't say anything else. She cancelled on you and wasted your time, so you should only make plans for your place, where you lose no time if she flakes. Don't let her know this or explain. If she asks why your place etc., just say "that's what I'm willing to commit to now" and leave it at that.

Thanks for the link, I wasn't able to find anything about ineffectiveness of flu shots or the developing covid vaccines. It was still interesting information, though.

Please link studies proving ineffectiveness. Or don't but then I'm not going to believe you.

First of all, anyone who has been here for a while knows that it used to be split between this sub and the old trp. This sub was always intended for people who know nothing to ask their questions. Second, why so emotional about it, OP?

Lol the other comments are right, you have no frame here and this is a great example of what not to do. You get sucked into the argument and the bs. It's so obvious that you still have a thing for this girl, especially because you're posting on here.

It's not a big deal. Be confident. Date women. Practice sex and get good. Continue dating/spinning the ones who don't mind. Forget the ones who do. The end.

Nothing wrong with helping someone. But that's not why you're posting, is it? You're posting because you want to LTR her, right? Why don't you actually ask a question in your post?

He might have a meltdown and call you 20 times a day. Or he might come burn your house down, I don't know. Yeah he's BP but BP guys justify craziness "for love" and he's also a drunk with PTSD. Again, I simply would not play more into the drama. You kinda got yourself into this mess, but don't make it worse. Sometimes, people are attracted to drama and unhinged friends because they're generous people and have a soft spot for them. It sounds like this could be you. I suggest doing more straight-u…

Like most things, I'd need more context. But for me, it has been only a good thing. Tom Cruise in Top Gun is prototypical cocky. But it's also sort of a shit test (you don't want to deny it or you lose the test). I don't really amplify, either, because that feels lame and try-hard to me, maybe other guys amplify but it's not my personality. I just shrug and say "yeah I guess I kinda am, huh?"

You hang out with a lot of fucking unhinged people. Don't tell your buddy. Also I would distance from him. If you feel bad for him you can still be his "friend" by giving him advice now and then, but what more do you have to learn from this dude? Also telling him is not going to end well, he's straight unstable (as are both of the women you hooked up with). Most importantly, it sounds like you are attracted to drama. It's your life, but yeah not too smart in my opinion. Find some people (guys an…

Everyone else's comments are correct. You want to flex because you still care what she/other people think. Which means you've made great progress (grats on the job man) but you have more work to do.

I disagree with most replies and don't think I would have broken frame. I would have just left and did something else. If she hits it off with her ex, fine, you move on, sucks for her. If she realizes that you left and chases you down and apologizes, fine, she can stay. Simple as that. Most importantly, you can't force people to do/be anything. The more you try, the worse it becomes. If you lost frame but stay with her, that's the first step toward more crap.

1: no, you just venmo her, and never speak to her again. 2: if the guy cheated and the girl ran off with the money, people in this sub would probably react differently. 3: I gave my advice to OP and you engaged in a discussion with me, not the other way around. But if you want to stop now, that's cool.

I'm sure they understood he was to pay her back. Why do you think he's asking strangers about it on the internet? You've got some expert-level rationalization going on, have you ever considered a career in crime?

If she owes him money for other vacations, then I agree, he shouldn't pay. Otherwise, no, I'm not going to steal $2k from someone because they cheated.

What are you talking about? YOUR life is going great. The people around you are the ones falling apart, not you. Get tf out of that house, just like you've planned. Build your life. Don't let them drag you down. Once you're stable, you'll finally feel like you can help them. But you won't be able to help them until you can help yourself.

You're trying to be too cool on tinder. Just have some fucking common sense. 1) Don't pick her up in your car on your first date. Just dont. It's tinder, she doesn't fucking know you it's weird. That's why this happened. 2) Don't be planning shit the day of. When you lock down plans, it should be PLACE, DAY, TIME, DONE. Why the fuck are you texting her with like an hour to go to figure out how the date is happening? That's incredibly tedious, and if theres anything that turns girls off, it's ted…

Your post is full of excuses. All you do is list off reasons why you can't land girls. Let's see... - Not super popular, not a college ball player, not super rich, not partying all week, not willing to go to 5-star restaurants three times a day, etc. You don't have to be any of those things to land girls In fact, many of those things are counterproductive. Also, maybe you think those guys land girls, but want to know a secret - if they're trying to hard, they're probably desperate and are settli…

At least for me, the whole point of a shit test is not to care. If people care about "passing the test" then they're doing it wrong, as you point out. If you simply don't give af about the test, then as far as I'm concerned, that's the end of the story, you've handled it correctly. I don't "defend myself" from a shit test because I literally don't give a shit. I don't care if it's a woman trying to get under my skin or a six-year-old calling me a "stupidhead." Why do I care? Why do I need to def…

I had a similar situation. It's not about you, it's about her. Ego preservation. Don't worry about it. Anyone who is worth caring about already knows how she is or will learn eventually.

I think that's a very large part of it. It's good not too care too much, ESPECIALLY about any particular girl. But girls have kind of wised up to some things. Play it too aloof and they'll think you're just a player. I would be a little more responsive and helpful with the meetup. You can still follow trp advice of "stick to logistics" over text, while still progressing toward the meet up. I always ask the girl out pretty quickly, with a specific plan, place, and time.

Lol these comments... my smv is way lower than yours and I did very well online. 100% your issue is your messages. Its something you're doing when it comes to making plans via texts or in the app. How do you ask the girls out? What do you say? How long ahead of time? Where do you take them? I bet it's something with these.

I don't experience that, but I dated a girl once who was kind of a perfectionist, and she experienced that kind of thing. She tried so hard to be perfect that, although it often motivated her, it was also crushing to her whenever she realized that she made a mistake. She often took criticism very badly. I broke it off with her because I felt like I couldn't even suggest that she did something less-than-perfect without her getting mad at me, apologizing, and then getting mad at herself. So I don'…

I agree with you, technically. You can also say that there is no such thing is altruism, and I wouldn't disagree with you. But I'm speaking colloquially. So I'm talking about experiences that are uncomfortable on an instant/short-term basis, such as pain, awkwardness, fatigue, focus and hard work. Edit: Also, happiness and comfort are two very different things. I think that's really the purpose of my post. Lifting, playing sports, etc. all make me happy and I look forward to doing them. At least you recognize and can admit that. Have you ever been in a situation where your dates/texts with a girl are extremely frustrating/stressful and rife with miscommunication? That's often the "opportunity" you receive if you were overly supplicating to reach that point. With the time/energy you save, you can work on those "various reasons", whatever they may be. Good luck man.

Yeah. She probably doesn't consciously view it as a control thing. For her, it's probably a general attitude of "I'm amazing and all men should bow down for the privilege of being around me." Not someone I'm trying to get involved with.

If she knew a place then she would have suggested it. The sunk time of sending a few messages is nowhere near the time cost of a date. Did you even read my comment? She was petty for wanting an extra 3 min. I didn't avoid the meeting for the 3 minutes. I avoided it because I learned she was petty. Logic isn't your strongpoint, is it?
/r/TheRedPill17/10/16 12:46 AM

I have a car. Don't know if she does. Girls are usually good about logistics for me, too. I did acquiesce. The second place would have been about a 15 minute drive for each of us. And I totally wouldn't mind driving an extra 3 minutes. But it was a turn-off that, after I gladly compromised the first time, she still wasn't satisfied and asked for something 3 minutes closer to her.

I honestly think it's too late for that. By your description, it seems like she wants a safe, no-drama way of moving out so that a breakup can happen shortly thereafter.

So just to be clear: you've met up with this person once, hugged her once, and now you're planning your wedding proposal? If so, I think you need to stop and think about the above fact for a moment. Or a day. Or a month. I think even a fully BP person would agree that you've basically been hypnotized.

I think you did alright and the "ok" at the end was good (though I probably would have opted with no response at all). Most importantly, it hasn't even been 12 hours since this interaction! Don't worry about it. I'd expect her to reach out to you again in no more than a week or two. Passing time and soft-nexting is part of this process and it takes time for hamstering to happen.
/r/askTRP06/07/16 11:36 AM

People are telling you to break up with her. I'll take it one step further: she wants a breakup. I've seen this happen plenty of times before. Whether they know it or not, some girls do this when they aren't strong enough to initiate the breakup themselves. She likes you as a friend but the attraction is all but faded, and initiating the breakup will be hard and will make her feel like a bad person, so she's acting out, instead. I say do both of you a favor, do the deed yourself and move on. Don…

As a non-drinker for most of my life, I disagree. Asking to meet at a bar, letting the girl order alcohol, and then not ordering alcohol yourself will make her think, "why the hell did he invite me to a bar if he's not drinking?" and will also make her feel awkward and unsafe about being the only one drinking. Edit: if you randomly talk to someone at a bar/party, it's fine and no big deal. But when you specifically chose the location/activity, it's weird. Also gives the impression that you liter…

BJJ. I took it up recently. I have some experience in tkd and a bit of karate. Found that BJJ is more challenging and deeper. I did begin to crave some striking, though. Luckily my gym offers muay thai and boxing for no added cost.

Aside from the common law marriage stuff, know that you're also probably stuck living with her for a bit if you break up. Unless you want to move out... But it's very difficult to legally kick someone else out if they don't want to leave.

This is great, concise advice here. I have many BP friends and the above advice is about as close to RP as I'll get with them. This language also makes sense to BPs. Obvi I don't use RP terms.

Sure. But I think that risk exists with all women, whether you meet them in class, on tinder, etc. Always be cautious and try to make a bit of a "paper trail." That being said, I don't think classmates are more dangerous than anyone else. Co-workers are, though.

Non-drinker until about 6 months ago (I'm 29). In my opinion: life is pretty much the same. except it's nice to be able to grab a beer instead of having to explain to people that you don't drink. having a drink or two just isnt a big deal. still haven't been drunk so I can't speak to that. I love my younger brother but he's the sorest loser I know. IMO bragging or "sucks to suck" brings you down to the person's level and keeps the whining around. I learned to ignore his whining, even when he incorrectly accuses me of taking an unfair advantage. This has been the only thing that works. Literally just ignore it.
/r/askTRP08/05/15 06:36 PM

Yeah she did some pretty contradictory stuff. My guess is that she thought, "I had fun, I should make more plans." But then later, when it came time to actually see you, it wasn't "I'm super excited to see him!" but more of an "I'm feeling OD'd on this guy" kind of thing. I'm sure you've felt overdosed on someone before, so you know the feeling. You also probably killed the mysterious vibe too soon, especially with the long date etc. I don't think it's terrible to make future plans at the end of…

The driver incident wasn't the reason - just forget about that. If anything, you did well there. This was just the reason she gave you (and herself) because she didn't know or didn't want to admit the real one. The actual reason is because you went on a 4459-hour date (or however long that shit lasted) with her and even tried to set up next plans before it was over. I'm not saying you can't have fun or have longer dates, but you just met this girl. When you spend ridiculous amounts of time with …
