As a male gender dysphoric, the reasons for transition are very different between AMAB and AFAB. Also, fairly sure AFAB trans are more common these days.

I was sexually assaulted by another man whilst sleeping in a hostel in London. I did not report it. I wanted to enjoy my holiday. Given that he did not use his penis, the notion that somehow he is deserving of less than half the punishment, seems fairly obscene to me. I won't be visiting the UK again.
