"When a child lives with a man and a woman, who are spouses or common-law partners, the law considers the woman to be primarily responsible for the child’s care and upbringing," read Henderson’s letter from the CRA. If the male parent is primarily responsible, the Income Tax Act does allow for the female parent to declare that the male parent is primarily responsible for the care and upbringing of all children in their household. It's a sexist assumption sure, but all you need is a permission sl…

Ah yes the Canadian Charter of conditional Rights section 15.2 states: (2) Section (1) does not preclude any law, program or activity that has as its object the amelioration of conditions of disadvantaged individuals or groups including those that are disadvantaged because of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability.

If someone specifically trained and mandated to provide aid can be successfully sued for bodily injury, why should anyone take that risk?

Absolutely shameful that such blatant discrimination is codified. The second related case looks promising – it acknowledges the discrimation (as least concerning Ontario's part in it) – but appears to be at a standstill: the respondent is directed to file a Response within 35 days of the date of this Interim Decision. Dated at Toronto, this 1st day of May, 2018. Bur includes no more information. It looks like the province is not responding so does anyone know what can be done to continue this?

CBC is Canadian so US code doesn't apply. The relevant section is section 319 Public incitement of hatred 319 (1) Every one who, by communicating statements in any public place, incites hatred against any identifiable group where such incitement is likely to lead to a breach of the peace is guilty of (a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or (b) an offence punishable on summary conviction. Wilful promotion of hatred (2) Every one who, by commu…

or want to take responsibility for the child that isnt theirs. I disagree. A birth certificate should only have information relevant to the birth. The biological parents should be included, and no others. If the mother remarries, the birth certificate is not amended with the new "father", so why should the certificate originally have a "father" that had nothing to do with the birth?

What is equal about the government ordering you to give your life? Nothing. That's the point. You should be angry at the concept of a draft Very angry, along with others injustices. But the fact that feminism never fought against the draft is telling. not women... The original claim was "feminism imploded" and "Feminism was always a parody". Neither mentioned the word women. They are not interchangeable groups. Some men are feminists and some women are not. It is entirely possibly (and incredibl…

Yeah he was walking towards the car initially, so obviously saw what was happening and didn't care. After being (almost?) hit, he gets into the fight but only on his own side. Perfectly understandable.

Then we’ll go one more step back and find that at admissions into the programs, there’s more male applicants, as well. I don't doubt it, but do any universities publish statistics like this?

Radical Party leader Oleg Lyashko who proposed the castration move said: "Ukrainian law does not have a life term or death penalty for sex crimes against children. "And it is very unlikely that the rapist would not be back to his 'business' again after release from jail." This was why castration was needed, he said. I'm no big city politician but there's at least one other option here. Another ex-Soviet state, Kazakhstan, also permits the chemical castration of sex offenders. Well I'm relieved t…

Good god. I feel for all my UK bros. Actually this is closer than you think. It's from Canada, Toronto specifically. (Newspaper has the same name). May as well get that transgender operation to become a woman, now. You may be pleased to know it can happen and be beneficial. For example, in Alberta, a man changed his gender to female and saved 25% on car insurance!

Girton College is an inclusive community Inclusivity through exclusivity! We deplore the fact that a poster advertising access to the gym was defaced.' It wasn't advertising access, it was advertising repudiation. The college have since replaced the vandalised poster and are to continue their women and non-binary gym sessions. So they've learned nothing.
