She says in the article that she works full time and her husband works seasonally, she is not a stay at home mother. 9	Fuck that mentality. This is common sense. When I leave my nephews home alone I tell them not to answer the door unless I've warned them that someone is coming over. –	Fuck that mentality. Actually there was a series of home invasions several years ago where they gained access to the home using one of the guys young daughters. She stood in front so when the homeowner looked outside they wouldn't feel threatened. As soon as the door opened they were in. I know what the slut walks are and what they are trying to accomplish. But I think they can send the wrong message as well. They make it seem like violent attack rapes happen because of what a women is wearing and generally that is not the case. Violent rapists, just like murders have a type. Sometimes it women in jeans, blonde women, etc. So, I think that the slut walk message is misleading. Everyone, men and women, need to be safe on the street.
