Exactly, humans are animals with a veneer of civilization.

That happens in unpaid sex too though. Sometimes consensually, sometimes not. A sex-negative culture dehumanizes women for being sexual, but that's not limited to sex for money, even if women who enjoy sex are analogized to prostitutes.

Maybe so, but humans and our closest relatives chimpanzees and bonobos all trade sexual interactions for other desired goods and relationships. The physical demands and emotions just make it all the more valuable.

Best reply in the thread, thank you for your needed perspective! There's a viral clip going around now of Japanese women being interviewed about whether seeing a prostitute would be cheating, and all of them say no, it's different. The stigma of paying/providing sexual services is highly culturally dependent, clearly, even if usually marginalized and looked down upon in some ways at least in the modern world.

Analogies are always imperfect. You can pay a therapist to talk to you about the most intimate details of your life, and build a bond of affection and support over time, yet it's one-sided, they're not your friend and the relationship would end once you stop paying them.

I like cooking for myself and my friends. If you're a stranger who wants to eat my food because word got around that I'm a great cook, I might not like you but if you pay me enough then sure I'll whip something up. I enjoy cooking, I enjoy eating, the company might not be what I would choose myself, but hey it's just one meal. In this scenario I'm consenting to be chef for hire even if it's a different experience than cooking out of love or just for fun.

A pose familiar to many service workers.

Are you in the US or another area where providers are criminals? This is why prostitution should be legal and regulated, so abuse can be reported and prosecuted. When prostitutes have no recourse in going to the police and johns know it they can act with impunity.

"Replies selectively " matters you think? Assuming a woman sees it you think she will find it a mark of desirability?

I've been working on exactly this, and also assuming attraction (forgetting indicators for now.) I'm just saying that "suck my dick," sounds like it will always be a creep move during initial seduction.

I get your point but without IOI this will also give off a strong vibe of creep.

Masturbation, fatty foods, and video games- got it!

You should also look into mindfulness meditation. It will teach you much the same thing, to recognize a thought or feeling but not be controlled by it. All it takes is practice.

Not for professional schools or the liberal arts. Law or business count on you making money after graduating, liberal arts subsidizes PhDs partially with the dilettantes who pay for the MA.

Two people agree to have sex on film. One does this professionally, the other has never done it before and could back out. Deen films himself attempting to get her comfortable enough to go through with it. Yet he doesn't seem that seductive to me. I'd say this is different enough from your average porno to be worth discussing. Watch the non-sex part of the video.

Thanks, man. Important to remember. I really appreciate the support I find here on Seddit from experts, AFC's, and AFC's in recovery!

Good points, thanks. I've got things lined up in the evenings so I'll try to think of a Sunday daytime activity. It might work since she said she's a runner and was interested in my cycling. Maybe picnic+bike?

Thanks! Awesome enthusiasm. To add more detail to my situation if it brings up any tips from you- I know I'm a natural at being friendly and talking to strangers, despite my dominant introversion. What I really need to work on is turning the corner to a "sexual frame" and not just being friendly. Something that's helped me in other areas of life believe it or not was an inside sales job. Now I have experience in an area where it's a numbers game and you have to put yourself out there. In general…

As someone getting back into dating after 6.5 years this is awesome advice and modeling, complete with sources cited. Many thanks. One question, and not to diminish your accomplishments, but do you feel it helps to be older? As in, you are facing less competition and women are looking for different things in their 40's than 20's or even 30's? I'm saying this as someone in his early 30's who feels he gets better with age but isn't sure what happens in the game.

Growing a beard can help with weak facial features as well. As to height, I think that's actually weighted heavier than other features by many women, unless you're Tom Cruise. That said, the shorter men I've seen with taller, beautiful women seemed like they had a real confidence and style about them (independent of the arm candy).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
