If that was truly money for the child, why not deposit the money into an account for the child, which they can access at 18? Seriously? It's because it's child support, not adult support. You give it to the childs caretaker, when they're a kid, so they can use that money on the kid. You are completely stoned First, the government doesn't pay "child support", ask any kid with a deadbeat dad if the government gave them jack shit. Second, a mother can't "waive" their right to child support. It's CHILD support, not parent support, you can't waive away the right to money meant for somebody else.
