Yes definitely. Looking back I’m glad I suggested another night instead of rearranging my plans on Sunday and that I told him no, but I never should have checked in on him and I shouldn’t say sorry. Even though it wasn’t an apologetic sorry, it still gives off a sympathetic vibe. Live and learn 😀

Yes yes yes yes yes! I see this in guys ALL THE TIME. Because it’s not their stereotype, they don’t face societal consequences for this behavior. I have had guys double or triple text me, whine when I don’t respond right away, getting way too attached after a month of long distance dating, saying I love you after seeing me for the second time, show up at my work, stalk my social media, beg for compliments, tell my little sister that they might become related pretty soon, tell their mom about me …

Since we broke up I’ve earned two degrees, moved to a foreign country by myself, moved back to my home country, but now the biggest city. I organized three editions of a successful festival and had a very successful career in the music industry when I was asked to teach some courses at an art academy. I don’t think intersectional feminism had anything to do with men... It’s about how feminism intersects with other less privileged groups like black women, trans women, disabled women. That is intersectionality. So if you are a woman ánd you’re black, you are even less privileged than if you were just a woman.

This is so sad.... and exactly how my childhood went. When I was 8 my mom (30F) met my stepdad (42M) and got pregnant after only three months of (long distance) dating. He was also much better of than my mom and after only seeing this guy twice she moved us into his house. I had a hard time planning my mornings as a child with (then undiagnosed) ADD so my mom would put on cartoons in the morning to help me with the planning.
