I honestly don’t even know how to feel about this. $50,000 and he had the audacity to ask her for more. Divorce. Disgusting.

Good to know, I can understand that. There has to be some exceptions to the whole crazy ex thing. Having one crazy ex vs all of them being crazy/toxic is different. Some people are legitimately crazy lol Sorry to hear about that!

It’s crazy how much a LVM can ruin your self esteem, self worth and make you feel like you’re not good enough. Even if you’re one of the top super models in the world. Hope she finds her peace.

I don’t see a problem with that, you’re trying to get things done. It’s different. I think it’s more of him saying it during a live video in front of a bunch of people and he said “just in general don’t touch me.”. If you see I posted a previous video of him disrespecting her which I why I posted this one.

That’s the lesson I’ve taken from that and I def won’t bring it up in future relationships. I’m a bit new to dating so still learning unfortunately but he wasn’t new to it sooo. Hopefully with this sub I won’t have to learn things the hard way anymore haha

It’s just such a red flag! He told me his most recent ex was a narc which looking back he may not have been wrong, but he also had a lot of narcissistic traits himself so I questioned it a lot. I’m no saint and had just gotten out of a bad relationship myself which I should have avoided talking about at all. We all have our faults when ending a relationship. Even if they were minor in comparison to your partner. One should be able to be insightful and admit it, and it took me a while to realize …

I believe it’s a clip from an Instagram live video and I agree. Save something like that for after and communicate properly.

That’s awful, she even said she hates having that victim mentality. She has the right to talk about it and bring awareness to it. I think it shows other women no matter your status abuse can happen and you aren’t alone. And it doesn’t have to be physical or verbal to be classified as abuse.

Like walking on eggshells. Seems like covert emotional abuse to me.

My ex had nothing nice to say about any of his ex’s and I ate it up and wanted to show him how I was different. Is this a form of triangulation? He told me he was so hurt from his last relationship and wasn’t ready to commit to something official. Also told me he didn’t deserve me and he was right. I’m just glad I set boundaries for myself when things got bad and I left but still 🤡🤡🤡

Spot on! I feel like I just read about my last relationship except I woke up and left. Self worth restored, it’s so important to respect yourself.

I don't see a problem with gaming as a hobby! As long as you keep it as just a hobby and not an addiction (which I'm sure you don't lol) I just say this because I've dated men who were way too obsessive with it in an unhealthy way. But I think it can be cute, I play some myself.

I’m not currently using OLD but I’ve had so many guys try to add me on Facebook or Instagram because of Tinder. It’s honestly so strange to me, but I usually end up blocking them. I’ll definitely consider this if I decide to make new profiles

She can do so much better, it’s honestly such a shame. I can’t believe there were people who felt sorry for Selena, like no she dodged a bullet with him honestly.

I noticed that, it rubbed me the wrong way. Reminded me of my narc ex

I can totally relate, my body was screaming for me to get out of the relationship and it took a while but I listened, my anxiety has dropped so much after it’s insane.

Thank you, you’re right. I’m glad I did it when I did and it only lasted a few months. All of the HVW in my life have told me how proud they were of me for the break up. Definitely taking it as a learning experience on how I can improve myself and what to look out for in my next relationship! Might take some time to be by myself for a bit. I really want to feel that peace and and realize if the next guy adds or takes away from it.

Good point. He did lie about using tinder before we went exclusive too. He forgot your location changes every time you open the app but told me he hadn’t used it in four weeks. Red flag I totally ignored. Never disrespecting myself like that again. Ugh

I just broke up with a guy who constantly posted like he was single and one day took out a female friend of his to the city and posted her on his Instagram. I was extremely uncomfortable and reacted badly because I felt like he was ignoring my texts when normally he was glued to his phone when he was out with me, told me he had his notification off and felt triggered by my accusations of being ignored. I ended up apologizing and wanted to explain myself in person but he couldn’t make time for me…

Never again. I swear I used to see red flags take a step back and then run full speed ahead. What was wrong with me?

Never again, clear intentions and no red flags from now on. It’s really hard to forgive yourself and realize how self sabotage is a thing.

Went through the same thing almost a year ago, spoke with a friend about it and ended the relationship as a result. Not putting up with men who disregard your emotions when you’re grieving a personal death. So thankful to have a HVW as a friend who always has my best interests when I ask for advice

It’s really helped me set boundaries when I didn’t even realize, I’ve ended relationships when I felt like my needs weren’t being met. It’s still a struggle sometimes but I’m glad to implement some of these strategies and mindsets in my dating life. I feel a lot happier on my own at the moment and I would contribute it to this sub. So thank you!
