That line is the realization that his beta actions/feelings were the result of his jealousy. He used present tense to signify that he noticed that he was a jealous guy after all the other things which happened in the past. You can't take Lennon lyrics that literally. This guy literally wrote entire songs about gibberish. See "Norwegian Wood", "Hey Bulldog", and "I Am the Walrus". All I'm saying is the song is little more than a story about his realization that he was being a jealous beta. He rea…

John Lennon's "Jealous Guy" is more about a reflection on his beta behavior as a result of him being a 'jealous guy'. Though you could argue he became a beta back bitch after marrying Yoko, this song could just as easily be an alpha anthem about dismissing beta tendencies like jealousy.

The only bigot I see here is you. You don't have a lot of Jewish friends do you? And who is he giving away free tickets to?

Offended black people have a much louder voice than rape victims. Honesty though, why do we care so much about these people's private lives? On top of that why do we care so much more when they fuck up?

If say its more they like whatever's convenient to like, but yeah same idea. Between Rotten Tomatoes and /r/netflixbestof it's safe to ignore the award tour.

Read my post again, I agree with both those points.

Chris Brown beat the shit out of Rihanna, but it didn't stop him from singing and dancing well. Snoop's music was unaffected. Polanski made a great film, so why should his off-set issues take away from that? I'm not making a statement as to the morality of these issues, just that it shouldn't matter as much to us as viewers/listeners. The media will jump on any juicy story and blow it up for as long people will listen because that's the business they're in. You could even go as far as saying tha…

Let the man have his moment. These statements do little more than provide you an "I told you so" moment if events do transpire like this. He should be commended, not brought down.

My jaw literally dropped at this. Beautiful story. It makes me think though, is there an equivalent alpha/beta dynamic among women? Couldn't women apply the same principle red-pillers do to become the alpha/more sought after? It's a spin off of your intended message, but the flipped perspectives got me thinking...doesn't everybody want the opposite sex (unless you're LGBT) to be attracted to them? I know it's easier to say "women are different and different rules apply to them", but I think this…

Life really is that simple - do what makes you happy and the rest will fall into place

You should have just told her it's just her or no date after she gave off the "using you" vibe and stuck with it. Assertively doing what you want with outcome independence - now that's not giving a fuck.

Parts of the internet are extensions of of racketeering organizations, but the Internet as a whole is certainly not. I also agree with /u/shadymotherfucker that nutrition isn't either. It's more convincing to accurately cite a few examples to prove your point than to make broad generalizations. Ok I'm done being a tight-ass now.

Amsterdam has a fantastic model for legal prostitution that works. They pay taxes like any other employee and they're protected from violence and STDs. The sex workers in the red light district have a red button in their booths in case the interaction takes a wrong turn, and if pressed, a large gentleman (bouncer if you will) rescues the women from harm. They're also required to get regularly tested for STDs, similar to members of the porn industry in the US.

It doesn't really matter as long as it's believable. Most reality TV is staged to some extent, but that doesn't really change it for me. It's actually happening, whether it was staged or not. Idk I see your point but it's a fucking YouTube video. I can't take it very seriously

It's impossible to prove either way, but what makes you think this is staged?

The second part of his comment was clearly a sarcastic joke, but I'm only referring to the first part. Also, isn't it a bit counterproductive to TRP theory to portray men (and yourself, through association) as the victims of the world, considering this is the main criticism of the feminism movement?

I agree that feminism is a flawed concept and that most of what you say fits the standard rhetoric of TRP, but you're harshly exaggerating. I'm quite confident there is higher enrollment in philosophy and other humanities than in women's studies.

The humanities were started by men and encompass the basis for most critical academic thought. I'm not sure why it is surprising that a man would be the Dean of Humanities.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
