That's what we're all telling you. Vietnam is a great deal too, with surprisingly high English language penetration. I stayed at a 5 star hotel in Da Nang for about $30.00 per night. Amazing city. Indonesia also has a lot to offer, with one caveat. In Indonesia, you can buy a house and live in it, but as a foreigner you are not allowed to rent it out. If I were in your shoes, I'd be putting every penny I could into gold and silver while the shit is still on sale, wait for the next crash, liquify…

It has a lot going for it. Though they have a much poorer economy than the US, that means your savings will take you very far over there. The locals also speak great English, not to mention the females. The women there are a mixed bag, but most are eager to please. It's the last bastion for men who still long for decent companionship. But I must also emphasize the might, the majesty, and the wonder of Thailand. Google image search "Hua Hin" or "Koh Samui." Then go to thailand-property.com. Set y…

As others have said, the Philippines is definitely a great place to start over. Thailand too. Both are very attainable. If you have any credentials, I'd build on them in such a way that you'd be able to teach English at home or online. This is coming from an American man who already has a duplex being constructed in the beautiful city of Puerto Princesa.

I would gladly take on that financial burden and never ask for a dime. In any case, my greatest pet peeve is when an…

It's not meant to be easy to see some of the things that others here are going through. I come here to be reminded of reality, but I have to put limits on my time here or I would always be in a bad mood. Not because of any of the guys here, but because of what has been done to them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
