Why, yes, they are sitting on a stage.

Disclaimer: Swingers is not a documentary. Having said that, Vince Vaughn's character's ultimate point was to have confidence. Don't put women on a pedestal, rather be more like a big game hunter who has all the guile & cunning to catch the most elusive prey. I think that still holds true in the general sense. Things get more complicated when we get into more specific scenarios.

What I'm picking up from many comments here is - Seddit thinks this author is just bullshit, but their anger is actually focused on the unfair dynamics of male/female relationships and not the validity of the article's content.

I disagree. I say pay the women more money and let them pick up ALL THE CHECKS!

Because their end game is not to hookup, but to make a funny skit. It's easy to be confident when the pressure is off. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them had girlfriends already.

It's always "fun" being the drama-free chick or suave dude the other person is just getting to know. When the cards start turning over, things begin to get really interesting. I agree with others here, updates please. Good luck, mate.

Funny thing about women (and men,) if they like you they will respond in kind. If you had bad experiences with it, could be any number of other reasons.

Better yet, don't jump into uncharted waters too soon. Take your time and assess the situation before taking the "risk." Never settle. It's better to be single and alimony free than married and uncertain.

Not quite. No real man will jeopardize coming off as a whiner in front of a girl during mid-mack.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
