2	The Hofstra false rape accusation is a chilling case study in the harsh and byzantine ways our purportedly enlightened society not only tolerates but tacitly encourages rape lies as the price of battling rape, without regard for the terrible harm to the men and boys falsely accused. my fiance volunteered in a woman's help center for over 2 years. one of the first things she ever told me was; when a girl claims rape, there is a much better chance she is lying then she is telling the truth. there are thousands of rape accusations a year, and only a very small number go to trial. mainly because the girl ("woman") takes back her claim or decides to never press charges (for reasons unknown, or ones we can figure out on our own).	/r/MensRights	11/09/10 04:36 PM
