I still think Meetup is a great way to meet new people , but please focus on the womans only groups in particular as you will be in a safer environment while still getting to socialize and expand your social circle. A lot of guys abuse the "friends/socialize" groups to find women. Absolutely. I've been very disappointed in the meetup events that I've attended in the past. I never got a true friendship or potential friendship and certainly not w any of the men i gave my number to at the meetup in…

So this guy is involving innocent ppl, who dont consent at all, in his "kink". The wife is aware and allows it. Disgusting and appalling.

I think its in their playbook. I read something a number of years ago telling guys what they should do to get dates online/test interest and getting the conversation off the site was part of it. It was prob some red pill shit. If she complies she passes his test 🙄 Also, some guys are embarrassed to be on those sites ( I've heard it from a few of them) so the sooner they take conversation elsewhere the better.

I already didn't plan on working there long as is bc I can see thru their shit and quite frankly...thev've got issues. The problem is burning a bridge at this point, which I don't want to do by "causing trouble"....but already I called out of work today bc of this incident and more stress having to commute and work in an already stressful environment. I def don't wanna be more stressed by putting up w him😞 Its a very team oriented environment I work in and short staffed too. If he doesn't pick u…

This year I've decided to never have children. I'm in my early 30s. I may never marry either. I have a feeling this will affect my future friendships w other women...it hasn't, yet. But I've noticed, women w kids and husbands want to hang out w other moms mainly. Other moms w kids and husbands like them.

Ty, it was years ago but I was pretty upset at the time, I'll admit. Upset for me and for poor him. At the same time I knew I wasn't looking for tepid and that just how it seems he felt about me. Def a bullet dodged. It's unfortunate we work in the same field and the last I knew he happens to be working at a hospital I could apply at. I'm unemployed. We'd be coworkers, eek! I'm desperate for a job but not that desperate😂

I'm glad he exposed himself for who he is, at the very least. Still a time waster. And I could imagine you may be upset after developing feelings for him. Blocking him w/ out further explanation is warranted. Don't fall for the " I'm cool with being friends" should he bring it up. Reminds me of the guy I knew once... I used to always be friendly w him and I think he took that as a sign I liked him and would be "easy" . Honestly I thought I didn't like him like that at first anyway but agreed to …

I had an ex from like 14/15 years prior trying to continuously message me and friend me on fb. He dumped me-twice! After several requests I finally answered and asked him why he was contacting me " just to see how you're doing", he wanted to chat, and apologize for his teenage self😂 I told him I had zero interest in communicating with him. Haven't heard from him since that👍 Found out a year or so later, FB stalking, he was recently married. He was def looking to try to date me again had I given …

I used to look forward to them " coming back" and most of all of them did at one point...i took breakups, ghosting as a sign I wasn't good enough, but if they came back I was good enough and I made excuses for the guys ( timing off, I didn't show enough interest, I didn't go to his house for a 2nd/ 3rd date 🤦, the reasons are endless). Gaslit myself is what I did. None of them are in the pic today tho!

I know I've def struggled with this ( like a debate w myself on wth I should say ) when men would ask me on 1st dates if I'm close w my family... I am NC w family due to the 1st 18 years of my life being physically abused, neglected, ignored... It's reoccurring...it's like the question I'm pretty sure every man has asked me on a first date meet and honestly I've never overshared too much at least bc I've learned not to bc of fear these men would use my past against me... I do recall saying a fra…

"at a certain stage i may not know what else to do with a guy." I felt this a lot w many of the guys I met thru online dating. OLD always felt so transactional to me add the 3rd date "rule" to that and the notion that guys expect sex/ a kiss within the 1st few dates otherwise it shows you aren't interested in them so they'll blow you off...i wasn't happy w it at the time but I was brainwashed into thinking this is how all men are and so I went along w everything. I do recall moments I felt bored…

Wow, I never thought about it this way.... For the longest time if I thought about it ever all i used to feel is sadness for the little girl I was who was assigned to sit w two older boys on the bus in 2nd grade who treated me like dirt beneath them. I was pretty shy, and quiet ( and neglected and ignored at home so I didn't think anyone would care i guess) so I never told the bus driver but I'll never forget the day one of the boys took his backpack and slammed the bottom down on my hands in my…

This guy I was kinda meh about pulled this triangulation w the Starbucks barista on out 2nd date chatting her up extra long while making sure I noticed...she brought her bf up in the conversation too😂 I just stood there while it went on, stoic like the whole time. After that date it was a def NO. There were no more dates bc I told him later that night I wasn't feeling it.

Thank you❤ I lost a lot of sleep in the day ( worked overnights) bc id worry about working w him. Always undermining me...if I had an opinion or idea, his was better, he bulldozed me in situations too. Eventually he stopped working on my entire night shift and life was a breeze. I had to see him a few hrs of my shift but he went home after a couple hours. I avoided him as much as I could. I actually decided not to take a better, daytime shift bc id have to work w him ( and a "boys" club, even th…

Yes! This guy who worked w me and started the same position a few weeks earlier than me was always putting my work down ( and me down), really passive aggressive and non confrontational otherwise. Really annoying non stop chatter too. I think he was a little envious of me. I think he liked me too, but that wasn't gonna happen. I stood up for myself ( when I could, verbally) but I was trying to maintain " professionalism" There's a few things I regret not saying, ngl. I still have some anger.

Good...maybe make sure that girl knows not to give out your number in the future. I hate it when ppl give out my number to guys who ask for it. Chances are good I didn't want that guy to have it anyway.

When I was a cashier at a drug store an elderly woman took out her pictures she had picked up to show to her friend. The picture was of a toddler boy kissing a toddler girl. The woman comments, " he's such a pimp" and laughs.

I read somewhere DiCaprio had his body guard approach/pick up numerous women at clubs for him and bring said women back to sleep w DiCaprio. Women who went along with it reported DiCaprio had sex with them "doggy style", his eyes closed, w him wearing headphones listening to techno music.

When I was using tinder I was disappointed that height wasn't included in bios. I was looking for clues in photos and if i couldn't tell i always had my guard up for disappointment. This was 1 of many reasons i stopped using tinder. Okcupid and pof had the height and body type feature which i liked alot...i just need a guy to be taller than me ( 5'3). There is such a thing as too short and too tall for me. A guys height( for me, 5'10+) is a turn on, maybe it's shallow to some but I'm owning it😁

Teenage groups of boys scare me. I'm a petite woman, 33, who might pass as a teenager myself. I've been catcalled by these boys sometimes...its always when they're in groups. The crime news stories I've read about teenage boys committed rapes and killings of adult women much older than them, is rampant....disgusting.

I wish I knew about FDS at 20! I cringe at the fact I used to chase men, "hunt" for men on nights out, and not feel good and complete unless I did, even surrounded by friends. I even use to encourage a gf to do the same 🤦 I wish I made more attempts at female friendships, yes guys are "easier" to be friends with probably bc they think you're hot and are just waiting for their chance with you. I remember telling a guy I felt "crazy" bc I was confused by his indifference which was clearly in hinds…

I have a feeling some of the background checks my previous jobs required-me submitting all my previous addresses, etc- sold my info to websites online, or it leaked 🤷 I think they sold it. Otherwise how else are they getting this some of this info. I enter my phone number and my address pops right up for all to see. Sure I guess I could go to every website to remove it...theres many. Or pay a company to do it? I'm angry it's come to this.

I mean I try not to gossip maliciously, I really do... I will be quiet and not participate if I hear someone talking trash about someone... But, I've also observed sometimes you need an ally at work and need to vent to one another about people's bad attitudes or bad treatment to get by or to eventually report( that technically is gossip to me). This is the kind of gossip I support. Edit to add:not all gossip is negative...some can be positive and productive/ useful...ex: talking about a new upco…

If ppl don't like the way you've helped them, don't offer or help them again until asked. Or when they yell, yell back you were only trying to help. I would. If you don't like the way I do it, why don't you do it yourself? This u can say to a fellow coworker but def not to someone " above" you so to speak🤣 unless you wanna get feisty and do your thing that way. What industry are you in?

I'm not the best at this myself. I think you can't make everyone your friend and that's ok! Perfectly ok, but I go along to get along within reason. If someone is being a jerk call them out, for certain. If you and them don't jive well just be emotionless and keep a stone face, business only approach around them. Try to greet everyone and make eye contact, smile if you're new. Ask about them, you don't have to be super chatty if it's not you...ask them how to do things at work. Greet ppl when yo…
