Makes sense, and no doubt claims need to be proven just like any other crime. And false accusations (maliciously made) should be punishable because it’s heinous. However, in the context of india... it is a very strong possibility this message is not being made in good faith. India is absolutely abhorrent at convicting sexual offenders, has a very low rate of reporting, and a rampant culture of victim blaming. So, not really feeling that great about an Indian company making this message a priorit…

You clearly don’t believe it, but your tone suggested you believe it’s an opinion some hold, no matter how wrong it is. I just meant that that’s not a popular belief and if the people around you / media you consume leads you to believe it’s a widespread belief, you might want to change your friends/social media frequents

Hang out with different people. No one in their right mind has this opinion

“abortion is about to be overturned. HIGHLY unlikely. That would be the worst decision the GOP could ever make. You should pray that they're that stupid. They’ve always had the right to vote” I should pray. And I do. Actually. That’s the point you dumb fuck. I shouldn’t have to pray. I do NOT have the option of adoption. It would be more moral for me to stab myself with a coat hanger than put my child into the current US foster system. And being on the draft list in order to vote is dumb, I’d ha…

I’m sorry. I’m in the US. And men have more of a right to not have a child than women atm. Doctors won’t even allow hysterectomy unless they’ve had multiple children and husband is okay with it in many cases. And abortion is about to be overturned. Meanwhile men can get vasectomies if they want??? They’ve always had the right to vote, esp if they were white property owners, reproductive rights im confused. Men commit more crimes and therefore are arrested more. Women arsonists, serial killers, a…

I want some stats on “minding your own business” victimizations. I know we shouldn’t victim blame but it’s less useful to say men are victims of violent crime more often when they are more likely to be criminals themselves, more likely to be in dangerous situations (like how many women u know going out for walks alone?? Or getting involved in fights with grown men who could retaliate? Fewer than men I’d think) seems like that would color the data a bit

What are these huge problems men face that make sexual violence pale in comparison?

I’ve had women friends who have been beat up by the people they trust most. Every single one of my female friends/coworkers/acquaintances has a story about something happening to them where they had experienced assault or had reason to believe they were in immediate danger of assault, sexual or otherwise. Men are more likely to be the victim of a crime, however women are far far more likely to be victims of intimate partner violence for example. You can twist the data however you want, I think b…

I don’t think you realize the visceral fear that women feel from the permeating threat of sexual violence on a day to day basis. Men of course can be raped, sexually abused, and otherwise attacked. It’s less likely to be raped both for women and men on a random walk at night than by someone you know, so that fear might not be totally warranted for anyone. But in general if ur a woman you are on the bottom half of strength and size, and you are more likely to be taken advantage of and not be able…

I was perusing, I’m perplexed by the attitudes toward single moms trying to date. Is it entitled to expect a potential man in her life to want to love her children and be stable enough to have a job? Nothing implies that she herself doesn’t have a job right? I’m not sure I’m getting why people are so pissed, like if you don’t like kids don’t date single moms but I’m pretty sure you’d be a rotten mom if you dated people who wouldn’t eventually be a positive influence in ur kids lives. Like imagin…

I don’t think so my dude, just respecting our autonomy is good enough. You don’t deserve any less either

I think the word respect here and in most places where women demand respect is the second definition “due regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others.”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
