I had to take care of my father for 2 weeks when he was suddenly diagnosed with an aggressively terminal brain cancer nearly 2 years ago. He speed ran dementia as the cancer spread and a quick death was a mercy. I can't imagine how hard long term care for dementia patients must be, but after only a couple of weeks I know I wouldn't be able able to hack it physically or emotionally. A qualified team providing round the clock care sounds like she's doing the right thing.

Trust your gut. Our brains are subconsciously aware of more external stimuli than we realize. Doesn't matter if you or they are man or woman. If something feels off, trust it.

uhg, I work as a pre-school English teacher in Taiwan. I honestly enjoy teaching the 3 to 6 year old age group, but would never risk teaching early childhood or even elementary school kids in the US because of this type of bullshit. There's a teacher shortage, but half the population has a legitimate reason to be afraid of teaching because all it takes is one person to decide liking kids = pedo to destroy your career and credibility.

No kids yet, we're going to try in the next couple of years. My general take on East Asians is that they're getting to be almost as spoiled and entitled as their western counterparts. They're still better looking and more feminine and all that, but as a wise old Japanese man once told me "They're as likely to leave you out the window as through the door". I live in Taiwan, and used to live in Korea. Beautiful women, but divorce rates are high-ish among cross-cultural couples, and I've seen a lot…

Don't marry a Western or East Asian woman, and don't live in your own countries. I'm married to a lovely filipina with a strong sense of right and wrong/family values, work ethic and etc. We were together 4 years before we got married, made it clear to her that I can not support her whole family and will never sacrifice our own well being to that end (she was already familiar with the crab in the bucket analogy so no problem there) and we don't live in either her country or mine (USA). She doesn…

I have quite a few really chill female friends that I was never that interested in sexually, if at all. If a girl is chill, funny, has interesting things to say, and not constantly trying to use what's between her legs to get an upper hand then chances are we can chill. I have zero drama from friends, and I'm quick to fade out anyone, male or female, that isn't conducive to that. You have to remember that you're a part of the trouble you find, if girls are causing you nothing but trouble and dra…

Even before you said this was an Indonesian girl I knew that this sounded like the behavior of an Indonesian girl. I'm like 99% sure she's not going to go to the police, she just wants attention and validation and drama. She's probably going to try and succeed at fucking one or more of your friends or acquaintances and then drag them through some sort of bullshit too. I didn't get accused of rape or anything like that, but I did circle the drain of a rabbit hole for a couple of months. Met an In…

I learned a language because of this. When I lived in Korea someone taught me the Korean alphabet in like 20 minutes and then I started meeting girls at the bar, getting phone numbers, texting, and setting up dates. In a couple years I learned to be conversational enough that a lot of my friends didn't even speak English. All because Korean girls are hot and fun to flirt with.

I feel like at 30 my only options will be other 30 years old women online.... which is terrifying. I'm 35 this month, and all but 2 of the chicks I've been with since breaking up with an ltr 3 years ago are still under 30, and those 2 are the least attractive by comparison. If you have some stability in your 30's and you're not too hideous to look at you'll have younger than 30 options, don't stay in a relationship because you're afraid of what's in the dating pool.

I dunno, I like having female friends. Over the years I've learned not to orbit those girls I've been interested in, and keep clear boundaries in terms of manipulation and drama with the ones I keep as friends. I don't offer any pussy passes for nonsense, but having a pussy doesn't preclude friendship. If a girl is chill, funny, has interesting things to say, not some sort of sjw, and not constantly trying to use what's between her legs to get an upper hand then chances are we can chill. I'm an …

Nothing anyone is saying here is an absolute certainty. Will your girl stray on vacation in Italy? It's possible, and probably likely but loyal girls do exist. I know a girl that was absolutely loyal to her boyfriend for an entire year apart, it does happen. But if you need to ask you already know the answer.

It will blow over, and she'll find other guys to cheat on her boyfriend with. If all you did was makeout a bit while under the influence its not that big a deal. She's the one being disloyal, if it wasn't with you it likely would have been someone else.

The one with the real problem is the guy with a cheating girlfriend. If this is your biggest cause for concern this week you're doing pretty good.

How many kids does she have? Living in Taiwan there's a ton of Filipinas here for work and I've been to the Philippines on vacation 3 times - I can probably count the number of Filipinas I've met without a kid on one hand That said, if you can find a pretty one without a kid that's relatively educated they're way better than most American girls, but that combo is rare.

This, so much this. I hooked up with a girl I'd been chatting with on the skout app the other night that gave me the best sex I ever had while being cute and cuddly and affectionate in between sessions. Basically everything a foreigner like me is looking for in a chinese girl. However, no matter how well we seemed to "click" in or out of bed, she's using a smart phone app to hook up with white guys. If I had met her any other way I'd probably be on the oneitis train myself.
