Sorry that this happened to you. You should definitely talk with your SO but keep in mind that women and men are different. I had the same problem during quarantine (I'm out today too, yay!). I felt awful and couldn't get up, walking to the bathroom took several minutes because I was so out of breath. My husband and toddler had to stay in quarantine with me. Our apartment got messier and messier every day. The first days were the hardest, I felt neglected and all my husband did was complain abou…

Amazing! Boskop apples taste nice! My personal favorites are Jonagold and Granny Smith. My parents have a Williams pear tree, it was planted 40 years ago when my grandparents bought the house (where my parents are living now). They got the tree as a housewarming gift from my great-great-grandmother and I can't think of a better gift, because we always think of her when we see this beautiful tree.

I'm in quarantine too, hope you're doing well! That’s nice! What kind of trees are you getting? I love the pear tree my parents have in their really small garden (that tree is like the only plant there is because there's no space) but it only grows pears every two years. Unfortunately, we’re in Berlin, so getting a Schrebergarten takes 10+ years on waiting lists, but we do have a small balcony where we grow a few fruits and vegetables from spring to autumn. We’re planning for a long time now to …

I live in Germany and I’m really worried because it’s not that far away and it does not look like Germany is just going to sit there and do nothing. I talked to my husband about this and he said we should check our passport expiry date and get a passport for our toddler. I’ll also go through all important documents and see if everything is there. He told me that we can’t really prepare except for stocking up food, water, medical and hygiene supplies, and buying things like sleeping bags. So I ma…

I‘m a SAHM for three years now and will continue this for another two years. Then I’ll work full time for about two to three years or maybe a bit longer, depending on what kind of house we’ll buy. Then I’ll work part time for as long as needed and when everything works out, I’ll quit my job to stay at home again. By that time I’ll hopefully have some grandchildren to spend some time with

Being a soft place to land cooking healthy while my pregnancy cravings are all those sugary treats going outside with my toddler daily although it’s freezing cold and I’d rather stay inside all day

That’s a great idea, I never thought about it that way, thank you! Sadly, all these activities are being rescheduled for next summer (it’s currently winter where I live) because of Covid. I tried to get a spot for baby swimming lessons last summer but it was impossible.

Hey, I’m 23, got married when my husband and I were 21. We have a 20-month-old boy and I’m 6 weeks pregnant with our second baby. I’m almost in the same spot as you: my friends don’t have kids or even a partner. The moms on the playground are much older and mostly judging or won’t even start talking to me. The young ones are living the cliché by smoking cigarettes and drinking energy drinks right next to their kids and babies. I have found one really good friend online who lives near me (she and…
