Why is it that women get with a guy, and then try to change everything about him? It's so common, it's sickening. It's like bragging rights for them that they got you to change because you "love them so much".

I have similar experiences. Wife got pregnant with someone else's kid while we were married. Later I dated a woman and let her move in and live for free so she could get a degree. She got her degree, got a job, and then left for a new coworker. Later dated another woman for a few months and she was sleeping with her ex while I worked. AWALT, my friend. Just know you're better off to figure it out sooner rather than later.

I think most would agree going your own way isn't fully because of women. At least, they should. Do what you like, when you like, with who you like, spend your money how you like. And then through in not wanting to play the games with women is the key to unlock this to a new level.

25... you have lots of time. Take a year and dedicate it to yourself. Do what you like - hobbies, increase job skills. Hang out with male friends, or just do things yourself. You'll be amazed at the perspective you'll gain about life. In a year you'll be 26 and still in your prime. Just don't play the game for a year. It's stacked against you. See how you feel after a year of going your own way. You'll also notice a huge sense of power and pride when you don't let a pretty face turn you sideways…

You're right. We all want to look. But I find an enormous amount of power to not even acknowledge the hours they put into putting on clown paint and getting dressed up.

That's exactly it. Don't give them that sweet, sweet attention and they're shocked. Also - you can remove half their beauty with a wet wipe.

I've found silence is a powerful weapon. If you're on the phone and she starts going off, just remain silent. It will get uncomfortable, but do not talk. Let her burn herself out. When she calms down, then talk. Can also be done in person. If you rise up, it escalates. No response is a response. A very powerful one. I do this all the time now and it's amazing how well it works. If you do try it, let us know how it works for you.

Married. She cheated. Pregnant with another man's child while we were married. Fast forward. Dated someone who wanted to go back to school for a degree. Let her move in, never paid a single bill, got her degree, got a job, then left for a coworker. Doesn't matter how well you treat them, it's just your turn until she finds someone she thinks is a better option.

It provides two things for them: 1) That sweet, sweet attention that they need. 2) An excuse for poor behavior.

Anyone who does not believe there are good women out there is foolish. The problem is that the system is stacked against men. It's just not worth the gamble. Every guy who gets married thinks he found "a good one", yet over half of marriages end in divorce and the guy loses his kids, house, retirement etc. By the time you realize she's a wolf in sheep's clothing, it's too late. The majority of the time, the man has a lot to lose and the woman has a lot to gain with divorce. The system incentiviz…

That's really the crux of the problem, isn't it? Women want equal rights when and where it benefits them, but then they want traditional roles when and where it benefits them. It's a game that men can't compete in. Focus on yourself and be the best you can on your own. Mgtow.

Entitlement issues. I one time dated a girl who had entitlement issues. Soon, I just said "no". She paused for about 20 seconds and then said "I'm not used to anyone saying 'no' to me." I said "I'm not used to someone being so entitled." We ended shortly after that. Good riddance.

MGTOW OG!!!! My last gf (which was the final push to become mgtow) had no hobbies or interests. I tried to get her to do many things with me, but she never wanted to. She did early on, so I thought she actually liked doing them. But as time wore on, it became apparent that she didn't enjoy them. I asked her what she liked to do, as I would do them with her. She said (and I quote) "I like to clean and organize the house". Granted, it seems nice to have someone who likes to clean your house. But s…

I personally believe society has glamorized being a victim. Then the narcissists see all the attention of #MeToo and "You're so brave", and they need some of that attention. So a number of them redefine what an abusive relationship is (odd when you only hear one side) so they can get some of that sweet, sweet attention too. "Hey everyone! Pay attention to me again!!! My boyfriend called me mean names!!! Abusive!!!!" Then you find out she was cheating on him, which caused the abusive name calling…

And who are you, exactly, to tell others what to do? If this group wants to point out the unnecessary stress of relationships, why can't they? Perhaps you should follow your own advice and ignore this sub and post.

Your comments prove you are completely missing the point of this. No one is saying she owes him sex. The point is that she was willing to do things for other men, but not him because she sees him as a security blanket. And where does gender come into this? You came here with your mind already made up about what this post was, what this sub was, and what the people in this sub are all about. You're blind and see only what you want to see. No one in this post or this sub would ever encourage rape.…

No one is debating that. You're creating an issue that isn't there. Based on what he did actually say, she was doing multiple of these acts with multiple partners.

What planet do you live on? No sane person would see it that way. She's willing to do things with the alpha, but not the beta. She sees him as a beta. It's plain and simple.

I went through something similar. My gf of 6 years lived with me 5 years left me for some guy she worked with. Also note - she lived with me for free so she could go to school and get a degree. After she got her degree, she still lived for free with me. Silly me, I thought she'd start helping pay bills. As soon as she started her job after getting her degree, she started acting like she was some big, important person. Started acting bossy at home, no more sex, all around control freak. So within…

I've gone through it. There will be times where you'll be lonely, but after awhile, you'll know you made the right decision and be happier than before. Now the world is open to you in ways you've forgotten or never had. Do what you want, when you want. Spend or save money how you want. Yes - it's scary at first, but you'll make it, and you'll be happier in the long run. Godspeed, brother! We're all rooting for you!

I know it's hard. Try to have patience. I realise that's easier said than done. Most here have had bad situations as well, and I promise you it will get better if you keep doing your best. Again - I don't have a real answer for you - hopefully someone else will. I just wanted you to know we all support you and your fight.

I don't have an answer for you, but suicide is not the answer. If nothing else, your son would be in that situation forever. Where I live, they have a lawyer give free legal advice once a week at the courthouse. If not that, maybe try talking to a law firm and just see what they say? I am truly sorry for your situation and I wish you the best. I sincerely hope you find the answers and rectify your situation.

Very similar here. As a man, you cannot win in a situation here. You apparently get made fun of if you just take it, but if you do something about it, you are instantly wrong and in serious legal trouble.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
