I agree 100% Both of my grandparents worked their asses off until their late sixties and now they're in their early seventies enjoying the retired life. They were rather poor when raising my dad and my 2 aunts, so I think their whole situation coupled with the different mindset you described was what set them up to be faithful to each other.

I see 2 sides to this argument, I dont agree that they cant be depressed because my sister was for a year or 2. HOWEVER. On this steam game I used to play, there was a group of the most edgy and cringe girls whose entire personality was based off being depressed.
