Physically speaking, yeah. Women's bodies are curvier and softer. They also put more effort into their appearance, typically. Outside of that, nah. Women and men are both assholes when they want to be, the way they go about it is just different.

If a white guy is in the inner city he has every right to be cautious. If a black guy gets pulled over by cops he has every right to be cautious. If a woman is approached at night by a man, she has every right to be cautious.

Elephants are actually completely sex-segregated. Males leave in adulthood and strike out on their own or form male-only groups. Although you could argue that the actual "society" part is mostly the females, since they have the calves and familial ties.

I think our understanding of strength and dominance among animals is a little skewed. A lot of social species, especially those closest to us, tend more towards sex segregation. There is a strict hierarchy among males and among females. Between them, though, males may have more sway in some things and females in others. Lions, orcas, elephants, apes, meerkats, all exhibit this to varying degrees.

To a point I can empathize with men. Being lonely is awful. It's incredibly hard to put yourself out there knowing that you're likely going to be rejected. Lots of men will die single. I'm a lesbian, and the number of true lesbians is incredibly small. I'll likely remain single, even though I have literally no standard outside of being alive, and I've started to come to terms with that. Black people and white people don't have anywhere near the strength difference men and women do. I'm wary of men as a woman. I'm also wary of large dogs. Little boys should be wary of any adults, men or women. If something is bigger than you and capable of ripping you apart or causing intimate damage, you're going to be a little more hesitant around them. It's not hate. It's not dislike. It's just a bit of extra awareness to keep yourself safe.
