I definitely agree. I think this might be an indicator of genuineness(is that even a word?). If you make the girl the center of your world then anything you do is in an attempt to make her like you. And I'm sure that she can sense that. Whereas if you don't do that, if you have other interests and she knows that you're not just interested in them just in order to show off to her, then you come off as a more genuine snd honest person.

I have the same problem as op. I was starting to think along these lines. I think people tend to be a lot mote attractive when they have a "life mission" as you put it.

I found out a while ago that apparently a lot of people found me attractive, but nobody really approached me or anything because i was generally pretty quiet and nervous around most people. Ive tried opening up and being more talkative around people and ive had more success. You just have to give people something to latch onto. Common interest…

Wow those are really good points. You're right, I haven't asked any of those girls to hang out with me. A year ago I started hanging out with a girl I liked as a friend, and I got the feeling that she had a small crush on me. I never did anything, and she eventually told one of my friends that she was pretty sure that I was gay. Your reasoning is plausible. I do miss them sometimes. Not as often as I pretend to, but I'm definitely not perfect. I have a really hard time telling the difference bet…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
