You're reaching super far to relate that shit to astrology.

"birth season has a barely measurable effect on mood and personality" justifies astrology about as much as the existence of bugs that can walk on water justifies Christianity.

I'm not saying they're all dead, but the light we see from stars is years old by the time it gets to us, sometimes thousands of years old. The average star you see in the sky is over 300 light years away, so there's a good chance at least some of them are dead. But still, the majority probably are not

Unpopular opinion, but I actually think being a successful twitch thot is probably a least a little bit more challenging than people give it credit for. I think there's a real challenge in building a community, getting viewers to come and stay, maintaining your regulars, etc. I think there are probably some twitch thots who got lucky and made hundreds of thousands with very little effort, but I would imagine more than half of them put in some effort into building what they got. Obviously the rat…

This sounds like a Mitch Hedberg line nearly.

I'm saying tricking someone into giving you money is the same as tricking someone into giving you money.

Is it worse than what she's doing to the men who are foolish enough to think that $20 will land them a chance with her?

They didn't dismiss it exactly. I mean they tried to with words, but they didn't make a sequel to that one, did they?

Also it was a dude who looks incredibly fit taking on a dude who looks like he might live off of Cheetos. I mean, I don't doubt that bjj is better than akido, I just wouldn't use that particular fight as my proof.

You love all women? All of them? All men too?

You don't need audio, the entitlement is entirely visual. See her thrusting her hands at that cop as he approaches? See her resisting arrest?

I can be like "well it could be real", because... well... it could be. That's the actual point of this whole thread of conversation. Could it be real? The things I mentioned that lead me to say it could be real aren't from a subreddit full of propaganda, they're from real life. There's a real life app that splits bills based on privilege, there's a real company that fast tracked women's careers over men, and the type of people that do those types of things, who are real, are also the type of peo…

The question was never "is there a real person that supports this for this specific stimulus", that's a red herring. The question was, "is there anything real people have supported that would make one think this might not be satire?" And the answer is yes, there are real people with real beliefs that would lead one to think that someone might also believe this.

This is definitely a stupid take. Plenty of people would legitimately support this. The same people support a real app that exists that splits restaurant bills based on calculated privilege - equiTable it's called, and at the very least, the creators supported it. There was also that whole thing with certain businesses hiring women into management positions over men, presumably to "undo damage" done by the patriarchy. The people who ran those operations would probably support this. I mean it may…
