This is the best advise I can give as well. Take risk. Get out of your comfort zone. I used to have anxiety and suffered from panic attacks especially when taking planes (thanks to a shitty childhood and abuse) But instead of running away I embraced it and forced myself to travel alone on planes. Remember you already have an advantage because you are a man.

I do not recommend Apple products. It's very consumer centric and aimed at silly people who buy products based on looks. I don't really have much use for them however technology should always be a means to an end. It shouldn't define you like how Apple fanginas think.
